what room at AKL???

Hi everybody

A friend of mine is taking his wife to AKL for a few days in December for their 10th wedding anniversary....my question is, what room should he request...he wants a nice few of the animals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated including anything he could do as a nice surprise to his wife. She does know they are going and where they are staying, but he would like to do some kind of a surprise for her.

Debra1970, please have your friend read the AKL FAQ thread (click here) that is found here on the Dis. Also, have him check out Dreams Unlimited Travel's webpages that are devoted to the AKL (click here).

What special things to do? Dinner at Jiko's or Boma's at the AKL. Or if they want to "dress" for dinner, Victoria & Albert's at the GF. Or if they want a room with a view, the California Grill at the CR. Of course, I think he should consider staying in a concierge room at the AKL and asking the concierge to arrange a special meal for him either in his resort room or elsewhere on WDW property. The concierge at the AKL is, in my humble opinion, the best on property. You'd be amazed at what Disney can suggest if your friend is willing to promise the moon to his spouse for their tenth wedding anniversary, *sigh.*
