What rides NOT for kids?

Isn't the current height requirement for TOT 40" and Space Mountain 44"? I guess it must have changed since your DD was 5. The TOT CMs make my DD go through the line and baby swap at the chicken exit because she's tall enough to ride, but not brave enough .

That was back in 1999, so either they chaged it or my memory is fuzzy. Either way she has yet to go on TOT.

Since they are afraid that things might touch them, you will definately want to avoid Tough to be a Bug...because things WILL touch them (or at least it feels that way!)

I always consider myself lucky when I read these posts. My 5 year old was exactly 44" when she went for the first time in November and she LOVED everything she could ride (which was everything except RnRC and PW which believe me she wanted to go on). Dinosaur, KRR, MS, TT, ToT were all fine. And she loved everything in the MK (especially Space Mountain) with the exception of Stitch which she thought was boring (as did the rest of us)...

My 8 year old was nervous about RnRC but once she went on it, it was her favorite of the whole trip. She had no problems with anything else either.

I saw that you were thinking about letting them go on Rockin' Roller coaster. If I were you I would ride it first and then decide. We have a 6 and 8 year old and last year the 8 year old was tall enough to ride but I have ridden it many times and I decided she needed to wait until she is 10. The thing about Rockin' Roller coaster is that it sends you from 0 to 60 in like 3 seconds straight into a loop. It also has an upside down corkscrew that can be very scary. Plus it is all in the dark with black lights and loud Aerosmith music blaring in your ears. It is definetly not for the faint of heart so please have an adult in your party ride this before you decide which children could go on it.

The 10 yo should be able to do everything at WDW. My DD, who is 10 doesn't like Dinosaur, but is OK on everything else. As for your 6 year old daredevil, there is really nothing to avoid, unless he isn't tall enough (RnR 48 inches, Space Mtn and Mission Space 44 inches). I would let the others do whatever they felt comfortable with doing. Child swap is very much encouraged, and makes for a better time when you have kids with such varied ages and preferences!
