In one month I will be in Disney World with two of my best friends!!! I can't wait! I am an annual pass holder. But for my friends, one hasn't been there in 10 plus years and the other has never been. I would like to sit next to them during most of the rides and so that go my thinking.... Which rides fit three adults or more to a seat/row? I know on RnR, Expedition, Mine Train, etc. someone will have to sit by themselves. But I was wondering about Peter Pan, Haunted Mansion, Little Mermaid, etc. Can three average sized adults fit on those and others?

Thanks!!

While POSSIBLE, I'd have to say "uncomfortably" (and, I'm not sure if all CMs would seat you that way.

I've sat 3 adults to Little Mermaid before, we were kind of squished, but it's doable. You might be able to sit 3 in Haunted Mansion or Nemo but it would probably be uncomfortable. I wouldn't try it with Peter Pan, way too squished. Winnie the Pooh has 2 rows per ride vehicle so you could sit together even if you aren't side by side. Test Track has 3 seats per row. And most boat ride have long benches that can easily fit 3 adults (Small World, Pirates, Jungle Cruise, the Mexico ride, Living with the Land, etc) There is also Soarin, Peoplemover, Tower of Terror, Kilimanjaro Safari, Kali, and the train that all 3 of you can go on together. That is all I can think of at the moment, but there might be more. Hope this helps!

Actually MLK weekend, and it was fairly crowded, three of us (all adults) entered Peter Pan. When they said how many, we tried to split us up thinking no way we would fit. They said "we are too crowded, you must ride together." We got on and looked at each other very surprised that we were comfortable and it was fine. We did try Little Mermaid and Haunted Mansion and it was a no go, someone had to sit forward.

I think three average sized adults could fit pretty comfortably in Peter Pan.

Thank you for the responses! I wasn't sure about Peter Pan because I've always had an even amount when riding. A few trips ago I believe myself and 2 other adults squeezed into a doom buggy and we rode the ride with 3. I don't remember it being very comfortable, because of the roof of the doom buggy curving I couldn't sit up straight.

It's a running joke in my family every year to see if myself, my dad, and my mom can all still fit in the Haunted Mansion Doombuggy together (we are all adults). So far, we have fit every time (and none of us is all that small). We tried this in Tokyo Disney and Disneyland Paris, but they wouldn't let us try to fit in one (they were probably thinking, "strange Americans!")

I think some of depends on how comfortable you with being squished together. I do think you can get three small-to-averaged sized adults together on Peter Pan, HM, and Ariel's, but might not be the most comfortable way to ride. I would rather ride alone, than be squished like sardines into the ride vehicle. I agree that HM is the least comfortable to be squished because of the shape of the Doombuggies. My friends and I alternated who rode solo so that no one was consistently alone.

In addition to the rides already mentioned, other rides that can fit three or more (fairly comfortable or by design) include the back row of the ride vehicles for Figment and Mission: Space. Other rides that I do think you'll have to split up on are TSMM (same car, but two per row), Buzz Lightyear Astro Blaster, Spaceship Earth, and Autopia.

BTMRR if you aren't large adults. (I still fit with my sons who are about 5' each, around 90lbs; I'm a small-ish female.)

A bunch of park peeps went to MK one night and 3 not tiny of us 'fit' in a doom buggy. I was in the buggy behind (no way I'd try it). Much fun ensued.

....You definitely can do Haunted Mansion....also POTC, Kilimanjaro Safari, IASW, Wedway People-Mover, CoP, Jungle Cruise, Soarin', Mission: Space, TT...
