What rides do you chicken out of?

I have finally braved every ride at WDW world (not including water parks) at least once!

Now I am no fan of Roller Coasters... so now I can honestly say it will take a lot to get me back on:

Tower of Terror and Space Mountain.

However Rock N Rollercoaster I really enjoyed. I tried it for the first time this last trip and its so gentle on the stomach, I can't wait to go on it again.

I also like Thunder Mountain, and I will tolerate Splash Mountain.

Now I just need to get my son to try RnR.

Cindy Yk, what is it about Space Mountain that you didn't like? I was surprised that you like RnR better b/c that goes upside down. That would be way worse to me personally. Is something really wrong with Space Mountain? I'm considering trying it but now I wonder that would be a mistake...

If I don't respond back to this any time soon, it's b/c we are leaving for WDW in about an hour!

up until last year it was Rock an roller coaster!

I didn't like the way Space Mountain jerked around and its a small ride, I kept feeling like my head was going to hit something and it flipped my stomach a few times with sharp drops.

RnR was just Fast. It was extremely smooth, even going upside down didn't even touch my stomach, which I think is because it rolls you instead of Loop D Loops... if that makes any sense.

Anyway, If you can get up the nerve, and I was sweating standing on both lines (I did them both this last trip in Feb) try RnR. I really recommend it.

Just Remember, thousands of people ride it every day, and they walk out when its done. They maybe Terrified, but they walk away.

Summit Plummet! It is the only thing I will not go on at Disney. I am fine with roller coasters and drops-any ride pretty much, but not being able to see my feet while having tons of water rush in my face...no thanks. The Slush Gusher next door was bad enough-can you say air time!

I have rode the Tower of Terror, but this year I am chickening out of it, once was enough for me.

The only one I won't do due to chickenyness is Alien Encounter. I cant do Dinosaur because it's too jerky, and wont do teacups and the motion simulators because I'm afraid I'll get sick

Summit Plummet is probably the only thing I would back out on. IMO the drop on Splash Mountain is not as bad as it looks from the outside, and the inside is too cool to miss!

I am THE BIGGEST ride chicken ever. However, each trip to WDW I challenge myself to try a new ride that scares me. I HATED Space Mountain--my head got slammed against seat and I was dizzy for an hour. HATED Big Thunder Mountain--don't like being jerked side to side. Did Splash Mountain last fall and screamed my head off. Glad I did it--but may not do again. Will NEVER do Tower of Terror or Rock N Roller Coaster. Just can't do coasters at all.

However, some of the rides that bother others thrill me. I LOVE Alien Encounter (not really a ride), Body Wars, Star Tours and Dinosaur. At Disneyland I adored Indiana Jones and Rocket Rods.

I'm working up the nerve to try Kali River Rapids next trip. Have attempted to do Test Track for years, but it is ALWAYS broken down every time we try. Really looking forward to Mission Space, although I hear they may need to provide barf bags.

Question: Can you go through Tower of Terror and skip the ride? Is it worth doing so? Thanks!

will NEVER do Alien Encounter again. Likely won't attempt TOT again. And will only go on ak dinosaur ride with extremem peer pressure from one person.

Never was a thrill seeker and don't much care for high intensity life experiences.

I love all the mountains, RnR, and ToT but I will never ever ever ever go on Alien Encounter again. I know it doesn't make sense as you never move, but I hated it. DB thinks it is funny.

For me, it is Alien Encounter...I tried to queue up once but decided it just wasn't going to be fun to get the crap scared out of me....so I jumped out of the line before entering the attraction.

If I had known what Alien Encounter was about I never would have made it on. I'm glad I did it once but I'll never do it again!

Definitely NEVER Alien Encounter again! It was the worst WDW experience I ever had. Through the whole show there was someone (sounded like a pre-teen boy) screaming and crying in a true panic to let him out. It was more horrifying then the actual show, which kind of made me laugh. This kid's reaction was making me feel panicked and I couldn't understand why they wouldn't let him out. I kinda wondered if he was planted there or maybe a recorded voice because I couldn't imagine that Disney would allow someone to suffer like that.
Anyone else have a similar experience at Alien Encounter?

I don't like a lot of roller coasters, especially ones that turn up upside down, but I did Space Mountain and Splash Mountain. My daughter had to really talk me into doing Tower of Terror....and when we got off the first time, I made her get in line again. TofT is tops on my list to ride when I go in December.

I'm not fond of rollercoaster but i figured out why. I'm scared of heights so as long as i can't see the ground no problem(did all of them). I was most worried about RnR and thought i'd warm up by doing TOT which i wasn't as afraid of as long as i was in the back and didn't have to look down. I was O.K until the doors opened and then the drop and i kid you not my DH covered his ears prepared for my scream of death,i screamed and nothing came out,scared silent never again. Well i love my niece and nephew very much and there not much i wouldn't do for them but i would not,could not ride this last year after what happened the first time. Maybe i'll find the nerve to do it again on our next trip but he'll never get me on Dueling dragons or Dr. Doom at IOA.

I once sat next to a 6 or 7 year old boy & his dad. The little boy cried & freaked out through the whole show. The dad spent the whole time consoling him & reminding him that it was only make believe. I really think a lot of small kids are unprepared for this attraction.
Maybe an age limit of 10 should be made.
