So, it may rain on Thursday and Friday, and we want to plan as well as we can.

good question! Hope someone who has been there recently knows.

I was there in December 2010 during what I swear was a monsoon. It just didn't stop. I don't remember any rides shutting down the whole day (this was pre-cars land). I vaguely remember Jungle Cruise and Matterhorn not being open the whole day, but were open at least parts of the day. Could have been unrelated to the rain.

I managed to stay relatively dry the whole day in a poncho, except when I sat down in the It's a Small World boats...which had ankle deep water in them. It was pretty amusing to hear everyone groan when they sat down in the boats!

Rain usually = shorter lines :) Enjoy your visit!

We went in the rain a couple years ago for Halloween time... Weren't over in DCA, so I can't tell you for sure over there... but in DL, storybook boats, teacups, Casey Jr's train, and Autopia weren't running. I can't remember if BTMRR was... we rode Splash in the rain (by that time we were already soaked.) If I was to guess, I would think Bug's Land would not be open, Symphony Swings, Goofy's Sky School... and I have hear RSR tends to close if its too wet. I am sure others will chime in. There was plenty left to ride and no lines really. Didn't mind that part at all :)

Alice closes in the rain. I have ridden everything else in the rain. NOTE: avoid. CA Screaming if it's raining(not just light showers). Mt DS and I rode in the rain and the rain HURTS your face.

We had a couple of days of rain in January. The only attraction that shut down in DCA was Radiator Springs. We rode everything else in the rain. Bring those ponchos!

I only remember Big Thunder closing during the rain, but we were not in all parts of the park that day.

It rained when we were there in December. We'd spent the previous day at DL, so we were only at DCA. There were very few people in the park compared to the day before. We walked directly on Toy Story through the front and when we got off we had to go through the queue, but there was still basically no line. Even when we got off again we could have ridden a third time with little wait if we'd wanted. And RSR hadn't opened, so it wasn't because everyone was over in Carsland. RSR was closed the entire time we were there that day due to rain, but we didn't notice anything else we wanted to ride closed. It was raining, but not pouring. Rain will keep some people (especially locals) away. Look for ponchos at your dollar store or stop at the CVS in town before going to the park. We saw a lot of people in cute Mickey/Minnie ponchos and they bought them at CVS for a quarter of what Disneyland was selling theirs for. We went without and got wet. Luigi's was still open but we knew it was going to close so we decided to ride it. Big mistake! It was fun in the rain with water coming at you from everywhere, but we got soaked. We had already changed the kids into dry clothes once. We left shortly after that and were fortunate that our hotel let us change into dry clothes in an unused room as we had already checked out.

I'm guessing Fantasmic will be cancelled if it rains?

So, I haven't experienced it... but I understand the F! won't be cancelled, but some things will be tweaked... so the actors don't get hurt. Don't want to give any spoilers, but activities on some of the ships and rafts would change or not be done.

In Dec 2010, I was there during a week of heavy, prolonged rain. F! and the fireworks were cancelled. There was an abbreviated parade. The second night, WOC showed during light rain.

At the end of April there was some rain, I didnt really notice anything closed. The majority of the time it rained and when it was coming down pretty good, we were in DCA. We rode RSR in a light rain (was expecting it to be closed) and we road California Screamin in a bit more substantial rain. I think if there is thunder and lightning you will see many attractions close, but if it is just rain, most will stay open.
