What rides/attractions do you most reccomend?

I would like to know which rides and shows etc are the best and should be tried. Please tell me your favorites, and what the rides were like. My daughter enjoys all of the exciting rides, excluding the tower of terror. A list of good rides and attractions would really help us! Also, if there are rides that should be avoided at certain times, please let me know. Thank You!!

All of the above- fave is splash, second is BTMRR. If I told you what the rides were like it wouldn't be a surprise- that's half the fun.

I only needed to know what they were like because my daughter doesn't like the rides with the vertical drops, for example the tower of terror. She's fine with roller coaster drops, but wouldn't be to happy if she went on a ride that gave her a surprise drop.

I enjoyed the Kali River Rapids alot. It's GREAT for a hot day, and if you're afraid of getting wet, it's best to avoid it all together. Also, for people who haven't been on it, it has a sealed up center to put things that you would like the have kept dry. Be forewarned though, there are times where water leaks in when you open the plastic, ( i rode the rapids several times) so you might want to wipe the water off before opening it.

My dd, 10, loves all of those. But, her favorites are Space Mt. and BTMRR. BTMRR has to be the first and the last ride of every trip. She does do Splash but that's only because she thinks you just have to do it...it's classic Disney.

Picking my favorite attraction at WDW is like trying to select my favorite kid. I love them all (I hope that they don't see this post, I don't want them to think that I actually have a soft side...).

I would vote for all those that you mentioned. But our true favorite (Me (mom-48), DD20 and DS15) was Mission:Space. And none of us like real thrill rides. We just thought this was awesome! (DH tried it once, but didn't care to do it again as we did!) I know there are people who don't like it at all, and I can understand that, but we loved it. Test Track was ok, I wasn't blown away by it.

We liked Honey, I Shrunk the Audience, It's Tough to be a Bug (both of which have extra sensory experiences to them!), the safari at AK, Carousel of Progress, Hall of Presidents, Jungle Cruise, and Haunted Mansion at MK, Living Seas and Spaceship Earth in Epcot. Didn't care for the Universe of Energy. At MGM we like the Backlot Tour. Millionaire was ok, but too short!

I'm sure I've left out some, but others will fill in the blanks.

Here's my list of favorites:

MK - space mountain, splash mountain, haunted mansion, pirates of the caribbean

MGM - all of the shows are incredible, Rock 'n' Rollercoaster is my absolute favorite ride of all. There are 3 inversions but you're going so fast you don't even notice them, the great movie ride, star tours

Epcot - test track, universe of energy, mission:space did not agree with me at all!!! but I'm glad I went on it once.

AK - the safari, kali river rapids is great, dinosaur.

The only ride with a sudden unknown drop is Tower of Terror so I think you'll be fine on any of the rest of these. I'm an old lady of 48 and love them all

Our family loves all three of the Mountains, but Mom (me) was too scared to go on Mission Space. DS's (9 & 12) loved it. I wouldn't go on Tower of Terror, either, but my DS's loved that also. I don't like vertical drops either. Splash Mountain is our family favorite. I would ride it as early in the day as possible; it gets long lines as the day goes on. We like Pirates of the Caribbean too.

Splash Mt. is fun to me b/c it is so cute inside and the drop at the end gives it the excitement factor. BTMR is fun b/c my DH hates coasters and he doesn't hate this one! It is very mild compared to most.
