What rides are skipable ?

The mad tea cups in MK- have never done them. Would get sick to stomach!! Also, the barnstormer and dumbo aren't really must do's anymore.
HS-my DH won't do Tower of Tower and I won't either. (Ride chicken)
AK- we like everything I think. Unless forgetting something.
Epcot- def skip Ellen's adventure, turtle talk (my kids weren't really entertained), Captain EO.

Wow. I guess you could add Body Wars, Horizons, If You Had Wings, Honey, I Shrunk the Audience and Flight To The Moon to the list too.

I would never, ever, EVER skip 'If You Had Wings'!

I really miss that ride!!!



OP, here's the thing. If you've NEVER been... and you don't know what anything is about... you aren't really going to regret missing out on anything. People have listed things that I would never skip! It's soooo subjective.

DHS: the legend of jack sparrow is kind of dumb

I disagree. the Legend of Jack sparrow is TOTALLY dumb. Worse than Stitch. we usually do not try to skip, but I can't see us ever waiting in line for 5 seconds, let alone 30 minutes, for Jack Sparrow.

DHS - Rockin' Roller Coaster (your DD not tall enough), Tower of Terror (my DD7 freaked out during pre show), Muppets 3D (my DD7 doesn't like it, we do it because my DS4 likes it)

AK - Triceratops Spin (if you are spending 3 days at MK, you will get enough of this with Dumbo & Magic Carpets), Primeval Whirl (your DD not tall enough)

Epcot - Captain EO, Energy Adventure (not worth the time)

Definitely subjective.... The Enchanged Tiki Room (now returned to it's original (mostly) state) is one of my favorite things...but I do realize part of that is probably nostalgia and the classic Disney vibe. I cannot, will not skip Dumbo..in my own opinion it especially needs to be experienced at night. My favorite view of Cinderella's Castle is from the top of the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House, but my favorite view may not mean a thing to most others.

I will agree with many that have said Captain EO and Universe of Energy can be skipped. Universe of Energy is a 40 minute ride. You're trapped in a large vehicle for 40 minutes... and Captain EO gave me nightmares as a child. For what it's worth I wasn't a child that was easily frightened.


I would look over things and let your daughter take part in the planning. Show her information about the rides and make your FP+ reservations based off of the things she wants to do the most. Then everything else that you get to experience will be a bonus and there should be lots of bonuses!
