are you talking about sit down restaurants or counter service restaurants? what kind of food do you like? where have you eaten in the past?

Some of my favorite table service restaurants:
-Boma
-California Grill
-Kona Cafe
-Le Cellier

Favorite counter service restaurants:
*Wolfgang Puck Express (absolute fave!)
-Tangerine Cafe
-Sunshine Seasons
-Columbia Harbour House

3 restaurants that I enjoy are Boma & Jiko at Animal Kingdom Lodge and the steak and obster at Shula's in the Dolphin Hotel. Enjoy your trip and happy dining. :cool1::banana:

Have you made reservations yet. If not you maybe somewhat limited. We love Le Cellier, Teppan Edo, Crystal Palace, Chefs de France, Coral Reef. If you haven't made ADR's I have found that it is easier to get reservations at some of the resort as long as it is not character and go at odd times in the afternoon or after 8 at night

Where have you ate at before? That might help us give you new ideas!

we have eaten in mexico pavillion, italy, frnace.. i dont remember where else. i feel like we need change though. we eat at the same places. we have eaten at narcossies at the grand floridian. OH btw im talking like sit down dinners....
thanks

The Wave is in the CR.

I love Citricos, at the GF

Yak and Yeti, in AK

Portobello's at DTD

and California Grill at the CR.

i have heard good things about the california grill would u recomend that we make reservations before we go?

Boma- Table service. Animal Kingdom Lodge. A MUST if you ask me. The flavors are so different and interesting. Every WDW lover should eat there at least once. If only to say "I ate at Boma."

Nine Dragons- Table Service. China at Epcot. Doesn't really serve anything out of the ordinary. It's Chinese, but some of the best chinese I have ever had. And their quick serive and china is so expensive... for like 10 bucks more you can get the prefix at Nine Dragons and it's just as good.

Sci fi- Table Service. The food isn't really anything to write home about, but I love the atmosphere of the place. Sitting in the car and watching bad B movie trailers. It's a great place for themeing. Go for lunch though, dinner isn't as good.

Yakkatori House- Counter Service. Japan at Epcot. One of my favorite counter places to eat. The Sukiyaki beef is amazing. I ate it three days in a row once. And for a quick service, the atmosphere is not as hectoic and chaotic. It's quiet, small. A more tranquil place really.

Tangerine Cafe- Counter Servie. Morocco at Epcot. I would recommend the table service in Morocco (which is also REALLY good) but the food is just as good at the counter service and it's a LOT cheaper.

Kona Cafe- Table Service. Poly Resort. I have only ever eaten breakfast there, but it was the best omelette I have EVER had. The menu for lunch and dinner looks yummy. I eventually want to eat their again. Was going to on my next trip, but the night my family is going is the night I have reservations with my friends in Norway so perhaps NEXT next time.

Kona Cafe does a great Mahi-Mahi dish in asian mushroom broth with veggies:thumbsup2
WCC have a great selection for dinner choices and the staff are wonderful they even brought fries for our son substituted for the mashed potatoes on the kids meal:thumbsup2
O'hana do a fantastic all you care to eat breakfast served family style very tasty mmm... OR Chef Mickey's but get a table before 9:30 a.m. or you could be waiting a while the food has improved greatly since the refurb too and the characters don't take quite as long to get around the dining room.
50's Prime Time do an Excellent Aunt Liz's Chicken golden fried served with mashed potatoes and green beans (the only place I'll eat them they are so good;)) and the Pot Roast is outstanding. Their shakes are awesome too as were the desserts you have to try there at least once (go for an early dinner say 5:30 p.m. ) it's one of our favourites.
Yak and Yeti is rated by us as only just behind Yatchsman's Steak House for their beef steaks and tempura prawns with a fantastic plum ginger and honey dip with stir fried veggies and sticky rice we enjoyed our lunch there
just after opening time 11:30 a.m.
Let me see where else... Oh Teppan Edo great food and excellent service too very good value even our son enjoyed his meal there....
Garden Grill for an early dinner everything was fresh and tasty and served
without a fuss the berry cobbler was huge and smothered in heavy cream. The characters came by fairly often too :thumbsup2
One of the biggest surprises of our trip was actually how good the in-room pizza was at POFQ very fresh and loaded with toppings plenty for the family and it came with two big bottles of soda and desserts .

The counter service places can be good too our favourites are Columbia Harbour House, Cosmic Ray's, Backlot Express, Sunshine Seasons, Liberty Inn, Flame Tree BBQ, you get the idea. We tried Cooke's of Dublin DON"T ask for donuts or anything else dessert wise that they could fry ) or you'll taste fish all night long....they cooked them in the fish oil:mad: The fish and chips were good though. Avoid at all costs(1) Sci-Fine Dine -Inn the food was awful not helped by the poor lighting (2) Planet Hollywood had pushy staff and then ignored us for ages before the food finally arrived and the place was a mess ...littered tables and only two people clearing away before another party could sit down. Main courses were huge but our dessert was minimal a sliver of mango pie that was about a third of the size of the one at Y&Y.

we have eaten in mexico pavillion, italy, frnace.. i dont remember where else. i feel like we need change though. we eat at the same places. we have eaten at narcossies at the grand floridian. OH btw im talking like sit down dinners....
thanks

Let's see...here's some places we like:

Ohana at the Poly
Kona Cafe (breakfast) at the Poly
1900 PF (dinner) at the GF
Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary
The Wave at the Contemporary
Mama Melrose at DHS
Tony's at the MK
Yak & Yeti (sit-down) at AK
Le Cellier at Epcot

thansks so much for the grat suggestions!!! we will be sure to go there!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks

i have heard good things about the california grill would u recomend that we make reservations before we go?

If there is somewhere you want to go, then yes, you want to make reservations. No tables are held for walkups and it is possible at any time of year that you will be turned away from some locations.

We just returned last night. Tony's was everyone's fave. If you can get a table by the window in time for Spectromagic then it's even better! 50s Prime Time is always a fun time and the potroast is fabulous.

Teppan Edo and LeCellier were good too.

We have taken Coral Reef, Chef Mickey's, and Crystal Palace off our "list" though. The kids don't care about the character meals as much anymore and the buffets aren't as yummy. Coral Reef was ok food but it was crazy loud, fishy smelling, and the menu is very very limited.

A word to the OP

Make certain you make ressies for any restaurant you want to try. WDW sit down restaurants are often difficult if not impossible to get seating in if you do not have ressies.

Other than that, I love Teppan Edo, 50's PTC, and Crystal Palace for Breakfast. I would try for online reservations.

We love:

- le cellier
-50's prime time cafe
- boma
-'ohana

And counter service:

- cosmic ray's
- electric umbrella
- flame tree BBQ

Our favorites have been:

Todd English's bluezoo (My fave by far!)
Le Cellier
50's Prime Time Cafe
