What restaurants should not be missed while staying in Beach Club/Boardwalk area?

Il Mulino in the Swan is our favorite on your list; great service, good Italian food, childrens menu. Restaurant.com has coupons for them too.

Can anyone tell me if Cape May has an omelot station where you can tell them how you want your eggs made. DH & I have eaten breakfast in Crystal Palace & 1900 Park Fare & they have it in both those places, but we were looking maybe for someplace different to try.

Thank you in advance:flower3:

Thank you for all of the responses. It definitely seems like there is a consensus among people on theses boards. Beaches and Cream, Flying Fish, and Kouzzina were mentioned repeatedly. We will also be trying the pastries at the Boardwalk Bakery. Yachtsman sounds like it might be a great adults-only option too.

Another recommendation for Flying Fish here. The scallops dish is excellent. We'll be going back in January. We've been to Yachtsman. The quality of the meat was excellent and we'll probably go back sometime, but it was basically a steak house and we prefer to try restaurants that have a little more imagination in their menu selections. That being said we are going to try Shula's in January also. We are also looking forward to trying Il Mulino. We've also had a very nice dinner at Kouzzina. The whole fish entree was very well done. We've never eaten at ESPN or Big River Grille and probably never will, not or idea of a nice vacation dinner. If you like to hop over to Epcot through the International Gateway Bistro de Paris is a lovely restaurant for a quiet adult dinner with excellent service. We've been there twice and will certainly go back. Have fun and enjoy your trip!

Thank you for this thorough response. I appreciate your opinions and your suggestions regarding what to eat at the different restaurants!

It wouldn't be a BW stay without a few visits to the ESPN Club and Big River. Of course, we like our fermented hops and barley and Pub Grub suits us fine. It's a short stroll to Le Cellier, and in 2 days I'll be calling for our ADRs and that restaurant will be on our list. I second the pasteries at the BW bakery, the cheesecake is to die for.

I hope you get your ADR at Le Cellier. I hope to make it back there one day. Maybe we'll try for it on this next trip. My husband has been holding a grudge since our last visit. He left the restaurant with our then 18 month old. She needed a change of scenery. While he was gone I paid the bill and left. I didn't realize that he intended to finish his scallops. Oops! Now I can't mention the restaurant without him rehashing the whole thing!
