What restaurants do you recommend?

If you like italian... The Olive Garden is excellent (there's one on International Drive near the Peabody Hotel and another on the 192).

For a steak or ribs, you really should try "Manny's Chop House" Its a little bit out of the way but well worth it. Located on Hwy27 about 5miles south of the I4 junc, in Haines City. Try it and i promise you will not be disappointed!

There is a Tony Roma's about 1/2 mile from Crossroads (heading West away from I4).

We ate at the Whistle Junction when leaving Busch Gardens, it is about 5 mins drive from the park, going past the university. Its a buffet restaurant.

Sweet Tomatoes, Chillis and Freindly's are our favourite off site places to eat........yum!!!!

I second Olive garden, good menu choice - great service, fast seating with a pager system, my only grudge is the portions were so big I didn't have room for pudding!

I third Olive Garden!!! Just love it!! Very reasonable.. our family all have different tastes in food (teatimes are a nightmere) and we all find plenty at OG. There is a lovely one at the end of Palm Parkway! Try it!!! and Enjoy!!
We also like TGI Fridays.. a great menu.. try the Jack Daniels Range ummm!
The Rainforest Cafe is also nice for smaller children.
We also like Hard Rock Cafe.. again great menu.. and fabulous memorabilia!

Rainforest Cafe DTD. I also loved Liberty character meal. The food was lovely and the characters were great with the kids. Planet Hollywoods food was awful. I asked for my steak medium and it came out burnt to crisp it could of shattered if I threw it against a wall. It was awful and overpriced.

Maybe we should try a steak here. Every time DW asks for steak burnt it has to go back 2 or 3 times for more cooking. Nowhere understands she really wants it burnt. I like mine medium well and she cant even look at at never mind try and eat it.

I love Sizzlers for my steaks. Also Don Pablo's for anyone who likes Mexican. (Tiger Woods eats there !!)

Scottish Sue, do you know of any other Tiger Woods's haunts????? My DS is such a fan!! Trouble is... mexican would be too spicey for my DS and DH (plain eaters!!).

I always have to go to perkins for their chicken noodle soup. I discovered it when I worked in Upstate NY and I just loved Perkins. We found it to be a favourite place of ours.
