What restaurant actually lived up to the hype?

Extremly overhyped and huge letdown: Le'Cellier (If this were not a 1TS steakhouse I have a feeling it would be dogged instead of hyped).

Lived up to the hype - Teppan Edo - had a great meal there in 2008. (Trying Cali Grill & Le Cellier on this trip.)

Dogged by most - liked by us - Coral Reef.

Loved by most - but not by us - 'Ohana... we don't get it.

For us, Flying Fish lived up to and exceeded the hype. It's on our top 5 list of all-time dining experiences.

Agreed!

We loved Flying Fish so much that we went back twice on our last trip. Being from Seattle it's pretty darn hard to impress me when it comes to seafood, but FF definitly delivered.

Dogged but we loved: San Angel Inn

Not hyped, but loved: Cape May Cafe

Lived up to the hype: Narcoossee's, we will always return here, so far is has not disappointed us! This past trip we finally tried Cinderella's Royal Table, we loved it!

Dogged but we liked: Coral Reef, although this past Jan when we were there we did not like it, so we won't be returning next time. So I guess this is now changing.

Didn't quite live up to the hype: Victoria & Albert's {I may be the only one who does not love this place}... we were so disappointed!

Dogged but we love: Coral Reef, Beaches and Cream (not sure how much its dogged, but we love it!)
Semi-Hyped but didn't love: Biergarten (this is just me...I didn't care for enough of the food for the amount we paid...love brats, but can't eat $30 worth! The rest of our group liked it.)

Hyped but we didn't love, The Plaza, and Liberty Tree Tavern(dinner)

Hyped- LeCelliar, it was just o.k., no one in our GG was impressed with this ADR, and Chefs De France we all loved Remy but the food was very dissapointing. Park Faire & Ohanas lived up to the hype

Dogged- Sci-Fi loved

Favorites- Grand Floridian Cafe and Tutto Italia

Le Cellier lived up to the hype for us. We'll probably try to go twice next trip

Cali. Grill never lives up to it for us. I've given up on it.

I want to try Boma one of these times b/c we love Tusker House.

Really enjoyed the Biergarten, too.
