I am looking at the Boardwalk and wondered what you all think will be the rate for the deluxe resorts. I think I have read in the past it was about $189 + tax. Is that about right?

BW/YC/BC standard AP rate was $215 for 4/28 to 7/3 and $204 for 7/4 to 8/23, so I would expect at least that. I wouldn't be surprised if this year's rates are higher than last years if it is true that FTP filled alot of rooms.

In October 2001 I paid $199 including tax at the Poly. We are staying at the Boardwalk this year. Hoping for a similar rate.

Take Care

After much debate and watching Great hotels on the WL, AKL, and BC/YC, my mom wants to stay at the Beach Club. My Christmas gift to her is taking her to WDW for the first time. She is picking the hotel b/c eventually I will stay at all of them. (I HOPE!!) Anyway, seeing as this is HER trip and I have been bunches of times already, I would love to see the BC go for 189.00 per night. It would really put the icing on the cake!!:)

We paid $298 last November for a YC waterview concierge room......Wish I could afford that this year!:(

Does anyone know what LV Concierge at the Polynesian went for last Nov.? I keep dreaming of waking up and seeing the castle!:)

Lisa3,

We had LV Conceirge at the Poly last Nov/Dec for $326.25 a night, including tax. Great view of the castle and it was WONDERFUL!

Getting a Savannah view at the AXL for $149 with the AP rate! Am sure we'll never see that again but would hope for a good rate in that I have read that attendance is still way down for the year at WDW.

We got a rate of $225.00 (including taxes) a night at the Animal Kingdom Lodge savanna view for October. Is this a good rate or should I continue to try and find a lower price?

Forgot to add that I live in Southern California so I am not an AP holder and I don't think it would be cost effective for me to buy one to get a lower rate unless that rate was really low. Aren't the AP's around $400.00 or so? Thanks.

It depends on the length of your stay. Remember that you won't have to pay park admission for the person with the AP so subtract $50 a day from your budget for that.

Over a four day stay the AP now costs approx. $200 more then you would have spent and you can easily save at least that by using the AP hotel rate.

We're only staying two nights but we have two rooms. We're only doing the animal park and nothing else as we have a cruise ship to catch on the 9th of Oct.

Does anyone know what the AP rates were for moderates last year at this time? Also, Animal Kingdom Hotel - Standard View? Thanks in advance for the info. ;)

The rates we have and had are with tax. We have a come back rate of $167 for a courtyard view room at the WL, for Dec. 6-13. Last year same type room and during early Dec. the AP room only rate was $149.

Last summer (end of August-beginning of Sept) I got CBR for 109.00 and that was a King bed.
