was one you just couldn't believe was something you needed to vote on? On ours, it was whether or not it should be law that it's illegal to enclose a pregnant pig in a cage of any type. First of all, how could someone be cruel enough to do that. Second of all, I can't believe we actually have to vote on this! :(

It wasn't this election, but somewhat recently we had to vote on whether the state constitution should be changed to allow blacks to marry whites. The sad thing is that even though it passed, some people voted no.

BTW, they weren't enforcing that part of the constitution, even though it was still on there. We were just changing it to make our state look a little bit less racist.

In New Mexico they are voting on amending their state constitution to allow idiots and insane persons to vote.

Amazing, isn't it? Who thinks of these things?

I quite honestly before today when I read some of these things on the DIS, didn't relize that you voted on such things in the states! :p I had never heard of voting on stuff like that!

Pregnant Pigs in cages, I'm glad I'm not alone in not believing that was actually on our ballot.
I'm sure there are many who agree. And to hear that it passed! I'm glad though. I would hate to see a pregnant pig in a cage. But it seems so ridiculous to vote on something like this.
