What percentage of tax do they charge in the Disney restaurants?

I have booked my ADR's & now I am calculating what we would spend to see if the DDP might make sense. The DDP includes tax, so I need to consider that in my claculations.

Tax on food is 6.5%. In fact that is the tax on everything except your room which is 12.5%.

I think you will find that if you eat a TS dinner every night the Dining Plan is definitely worth it. I calculated we saved over 400$ on our last trip. Of course, we were on Free Dining so we actually saved 1600$.

I read on these boards that if you would be spending more than $35.88 per day per adult, the dining plan is a good deal. We love it as we always do at least one table service meal and or a character meal each day.
