What passions have your parents passed onto you?

Nothing really. The only passion they had was for antique cars and that didn’t start until my dad retired. He was a mechanic and worked and restored a few old cars and then they drove them in parades and took them to car shows. They belonged to a car club. After they passed several years ago none of us had any room for them nor did we want to pay to store them and none of us were really interested in showing them either so they were all sold.

My Mom passed on her love of sewing, quilting. Also she is a big football fan and passed that along to me Dad and Mom passed on their love of gardening and the outdoors.

Reading and for that I am unendingly grateful. My mom has always been a big reader and I read over 100 books a year. I tried to pass it down to my own children but it didn't stick.
