Hey guys,

I will be going to Disneyworld with my fiance in June on our honeymoon. We have 5 day tickets with park hopper abilities. My question is which parks should we go to first? Is there a certain order which you think we should hit the parks?

Thanks!

Gary

First of all congrats on your honeymoon. I can't think of a better place to go.
Now, for the decision. Which park to do first.
I think you need to think about when was the last time you visited MK. If this is your first trip, then you must go to MK first. You won't be able to stop thinking about it. So you may as well make MK your first stop.

Arrive by ferry because the ride is just so pleasant and wonderful.

I would arrive early and stay the day. Its only the two of you so you will be able to enjoy MK so differently than with kids. You will have the freedom to ride what you want when you want. I would also book an ADR at the Liberty Tree Tavern which will be a nice place to eat for you two. Or go for the Crystal Palace. Or better yet, get an ADR for Cinderella's royal table because, after all, you are on your honeymoon and I think you should go all out. Or, maybe you should take a breather and walk over to the Contemporary Hotel for lunch at Chef Mickey which is totally fun. Or maybe just go to the Wave for a quiet lunch. I know, I'm throwing too much at you. Disney planning is so much fun!:wizard:

MK is so magical. I would probably start and end my trip with two trips to MK.

I would recommend going to touring plans.com they have a almost fool-proof estimate of crowd levels by day / by park. that way you can figure out where to go to avoid the crowds.

We use www.touringplans.com to plan our park days according to their Crowd/Best Days calendar. We then make our ADRs around what parks we will be in on which days. Also, June is a busy time, so you want to have a good touring plan. For example, Gay Days is always held in early June, so the parks that those families will be in on certain days are typically more crowded. For us, planning for low crowds is everything! lol!
