What Park Would You Most Likely Do Solo?

It looks like I may have one day (or half day) by myself next trip before the rest of my party meets me. What is the park you would choose to do on your own? I lean towards Magic Kingdom, just because that is definitely where I feel the most Disney magic, however I'd love to hear others' opinions.

Epcot would be fun to do alone. It depends on what everyone else likes. Or doesn't like. I might as well do HS alone because my wife won't do ToT, Star Tours or RnR Coaster.

I often spend solo time in the parks while CM friend is off at events. I like to do an Epcot/DHS combo - watch shows at DHS and then hop to Epcot for a meal and to explore WS.

I was recently in Epcot during the Flower & Garden event and I enjoyed viewing the different exhibits. I also fit in research for the SDFP thread. ;)

I go solo all the time and love all three. (Yes, I said three. DHS has so little that interests me now it is not worth taking the time to go over even with an AP so I'm not "wasting" a ticket. So it never enters my mind as an option.)

I have done Hollywood Studios solo (the day I arrived that trip, so only the evening); Animal Kingdom solo (best time to take tons of photos of the animals 'cause nobody is rushing you or waiting on you); and spent part of a day in the Magic Kingdom solo when my friend on that trip wasn't feeling well. For me, AK was the best solo find because of the photos I took, but if you're not into that, really any park would do. Pick your favorite park, I guess!

I think Magic is the best for a solo. It has the most rides, it's easy to get "lost" in the park, lots of quick food options, atmosphere is amazing. Definitely MK.

It would depend on who I am traveling with. I really enjoy hitting all of the after-ride experiences and WS exhibits at Epcot, but there are no other takers on that with my crew. OTOH, hubs is done with basically everything but omnivore rides, so MK for the mountains would be pretty cool.

When I take solo trips, they are usually tied to business trips and are generally only for a day or two. I always think about visiting other parks, but I always find myself heading to MK - every single time. I can "feel" my family around me when I am there. It feels more like home.

I think I'd be happy touring any of the parks solo. Perhaps not DHS at the moment though as theres not much to do at the moment. But i think DAK might be quite a good park as you can do the trails and spend as much time as you like watching the animals (I always feel rushed with other people, even if they're not actually rushing me!).
Epcot would be pretty great as you could really explore WS and visit all the shops.
Magic Kingdom would be the winner for me though if i had to choose one park. Theres plenty of things to do and even just sitting down and people watching can be magical there.

I go solo often and all the parks are easy to tour solo, it really depends on what you are interested in. As others have said, where do you find yourself wishing you could spend more time when you are with your family. I tend to gravitate toward Epcot and WS, just wandering through the shops and sitting and watching people with an ice cream is fun for me. My DS doesn't like to go to shows, so I tend to get those in when I'm solo as well.

Epcot, because it's my favorite. I would try snacks and drinks around the world, or HS, because my family does not usually do shows and there are many I haven't seen.

I've done all of them solo, so my answer is whichever one you want to go to the most! :)

If I only had the one day, then MK for sure. But since you asked about one day that is leading up to a longer stay with your group (and I'm assuming planned MK time with them), then I would probably opt for Epcot WS and really take my time exploring each country and their shops.

Epcot or MK.

On my solo day I did three parks... HS for ToT and RnR, then Epcot, and finished at MK. I don't think that I would want HS for more than 1-2 hours, so if I had to choose one it would be Epcot or MK. The thing that makes me want to pick Epcot over MK is that I LOVED walking around WS with my adult beverage and just relaxing. MK is fun, but not as relaxing as Epcot.

Epcot! Actually I have since twice I was in the Orlando area on business and visited the parks solo. MK was ok and AK was amazing but Epcot was the best. Such a relaxing stroll and visit in World Showcase in particular
