What park is most challenging for you to navigate?

Even though this will be my 6th trip to WDW this year, I still don't navigate all the parks equally well.

For me the hardest is a tie between AK and DHS.

AK probably because of the size and I can never remember what is in Africa vs Asia.

DHS is just not straight forward to me -- and it seems as though there aren't as many ways to criss-cross the park compared to MK.

MK and Epcot -- never a problem!

What are the hardest parks for you to get around?

DHS. I'm not sure why but I'm always ending up places I didn't mean to. For some reason I find the street area by muppets especially annoying. And it's always packed so that doesn't help. I think I just dislike DHS as a whole though... Not really my kinda theme...

AK probably barely over HS for me too. I get a sense of where I am spatially in the other two, but never have a clue in AK or HS in some areas. I know Echo lake area pretty well though.

AK over DHS for me. While I find DHS to be the most confusing layout, AK presents difficulty for me because the navigation options require greater distances and I haven't found the signage to be particularly helpful.

DHS for sure. I just remember my first time there being really confused by the layout - and it still throws me if I venture off the basic path from Toy Story to Star Tours passing in front of the (former) American Idol bldg. 2013, I was going to try a carrot cake cookie - had to give it up because I had no idea where Writer's Stop was (planned ahead and found it in 2014). 2014, I almost couldn't find Mike & Sulley - even looking at my MDE app that told me they were like 40 yards away from where I was standing. I don't have a problem with AK, and of course MK and Epcot are the proverbial Pieces of Cake, but DHS... I hope it gets easier after the presumed eventual Major Makeover.

I agree with DHS. There is just no smooth traffic flow from one area to another. After all these many years I still need a map to navigate that park. The others I know like the back of my hand.

I know all the parks really well. Have been many times, but DHS is the hardest to get around in.

AK right now because of the walls. However, DHS and AK are really close. We always get turned around after leaving Muppet Vision. I knew there was a reason I didn't like that attraction:mad:

Yup, I agree with all who said DHS! I've been three times and last time I could still hardly find my way around with a map! I think it's the lack of both hub and spoke and well defined lands. I'm pretty convinced GMR would only be a third as busy in a different location, but as it stands now people are just lost and confused and sad and that ride is right there! :D

Disney screwed with DHS's layout when it added some areas. If you look at it from the air, you can see where the hub and spoke were supposed to be. AK is difficult mainly because is was built to be lush and jungle-y. Because of that, you can barely see anything, even though it has a hub/spoke thing. I think the waterway around the tree were supposed to have boats to move people around, but the boat idea didn't work out very well and were shut down. Love AK, but MAN that's a lot of walking in weird ways.

But if I had to pick a park that really screws with me, it's Disneyland!! While there is a hub/spoke, there are little tiny areas that lead no where, or weird walkways or all sorts of backways that confuse the hell out of me.

We spent a lot of time at DHS on our last two trips, so I'm starting to get the hang of that park. However, I had to ask for directions CONSTANTLY at AK. I was almost hounding the CMs to point me in the right direction. And yes, I was looking at the map a lot, but still almost getting lost.

However, if you're heading for Everest, that ride is tall enough so that you can see it from most areas of the park.

AK has always been tough for me, it was even worse trying to get around during the Jammin' Jungle parade. I think Disney go out of their way to make it impossible to leave :) never had a problem with DHS.

For me it is definitely Animal Kingdom! I have been going to that park since it opened and I still can't easily find my way around. I can navigate MK and Epcot blindfolded. Animal Kingdom, I just can't find my way as easily as other parks.

Ak is the only park where I actually need a map. I think its all the trees like someone else said, so you can't really see where you are going.

I guess HS can be confusing but it seems so small that taking the long way doesn't bother me so much if I take a wrong turn.
