What park do we avoid on Mother's Day?

We're arriving on May 7th, and Mother's Day is May 8th. What park will be the busiest that day? We want to avoid those crowds. :confused3

I was at Epcot last Mother's Day, and it was very nice -- lots of "Happy Mother's Day" wishes and one CM even gave me a rose. It wasn't terribly crowded, although I didn't try to attend the bruch there, so I din't know how that was.

I would think the busiest would be the MK, especially mom's with little kids.

But, if I were going to be there for Mother's Day, I would pick Epcot. With all those nice restaurants to pick from, I would be in heaven! :goodvibes

I'll be there for Mother's Day and our plan is to attend the My Princess Tea Party and then head to Animal Kingdom for the afternoon.

We've never been over the Mother's Day weekend but we'll be there this year.

I've heard from other posts on the board that EPCOT is busy on Mother's Day. If it is, so be it. We're scheduled for the Bruch at 11:30 on Sunday.

We have an 8:30am PS for CRT on Mother's Day (its also my birthday!) so we will be doing MK at least for the morning. Everyone seems to recommend Epcot for Mother's Day so I'm thinking that may be almost as crowded (although Epcot seems so much more spread out it never feels as crowded as MK).

I think both parks will have some extra volume that weekend, but I'm hoping its manageable.

MK is ALWAYS packed on Mother's Day, along with 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and Easter Sunday!

They take pictures at Epcot, similiar to MNSSHP or MVMCP. I was there on Mother's Day in 2000, 2001 & 2003, didn't find Epcot or MK overcrowded. We did Epcot in the morning/early afternoon and MK in late afternoon (dinner at Cinderella's).

I guess you got a lot of conflicting replies here, but I tell my observations.

We were there on Mother's Day last year. Mk did not seem any more crowded than it was during the rest of the trip (which was pretty much moderate all week)

The only change that we saw was at World Showcase in Epcot which seemed a little more crowded earlier than usual. We went over there about 2pm.

Ther was also a large crowd at this special Mother's Day brunch they had in WS at the tent pavilion thing they have, that was built for the millenium.

Otherwise it didn't seem more crowded. They were handing out roses to all moms at MK entrance, which my wife thought was very nice.
