We r staying at ssr so will pop over to dtd a couple of nights
And will maybe eat off site once or twice

Not sure what you like but Cheesecake Factory at the Mall of Millenia is very nice, and you can always do a spot of shopping at the same time :):)

How about one of the restaurants at Animal Kingdom Lodge? It's a lovely resort to visit.

Beaches & Cream is good fun too!

Yes beaches and cream sounds great will I need a ADR for it or will I manage to just walk in?

Will look at menus for akl thanks xx

flying fish always good, brown derby also..........tonga toast at Kona cafe is always a must YUMOH

I like lunch at Yak and Yeti - when I've been in the past (which - warning - has tended to be in low season) the staff have been welcoming and I've been impressed with the range of items on the menu - especially the deserts, which I found vast and filling.

I also recommend Tutto Italia in EPCOT for lunch - very good if you fancy a holiday treat.

I'm not sure, we haven't been since they started accepting ADRs. Anyone else?

We tried to eat in there one afternoon a couple of weeks ago and there was no table available unless you had booked. The only option was a take out ice cream.

you have a very nice list there!!!
mmmm...be our guest...yummmmmm

ok...focus....
let's see
anything you're missing?

i'm not a big fan of hollywood & vine - but is it character for lunch? i guess that would make a difference
at DHS i prefer either Sci Fi or 50's Prime Time
(or if you're going for broke, brown derby - but that's 2 credits)

at AK there are two very nice restaurants - boma and jiko. Both very good.
at GL, i prefer Citricos to Narcoosees, but they're both excellent.

but truth be told, i don't think there is such a thing as missing out.
whatever you do is good. whatever you don't do - leaves something for next time. :)

all in all, you have a great list.

Personal faves include:

Sanna at AKL Kidani
50s Primetime at DHS
Trail's End at Fort Wilderness (best value for money meal in WDW IMO)

so if it's with characters, then keep it..
that's the point of WDW after all, no?
better than standing in a hot sun to meet the characters..

so keep your list - it's a good list.
i'm sure you'll enjoy your choices
(and be our guest.....yummmm!!!!!! :) we LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED dinner at be our guest....yummmmmm)

How about one or two of the Epcot restaurants - depending on your taste there's lots of different cuisines to choose from...
World Showcase in the evening is quite a nice place to be as well.

Ragland Road at DTD
Boma at AKL
Via Napoli at EPCOT

These are some of our favourites :goodvibes

and since i can't stop thinking about be our guest i'll bore you with what we ate there:
DD had the salad trio as an appetizer and the pan-seared salmon on leek fondue for her entree
DSIL also had the salmon
DH just had the salad trio
i had the Layered Ratatouille (i'm a vegetarian).

does it sound uninteresting?

it was, without question, THE best meal we've ever had in any of the 4 parks.
And one of the best ever at WDW.

that layered ratatouille had me oohing and ahhing the entire time i ate it. unbelievably good.

and DD and DSIL said it was the very best salmon they'd had ever.
that's saying a lot, since they ALWAYS order salmon wherever they eat.

as for that salad trio - sounds boring, no? wrong!
the most interesting little salads ever served to us at WDW - and beyond tasty. really really yummy

oh..and dessert was also yummy according to DH and DSIL (DD and i didn't have as far as i remember)...
DSIL - who is a pastry chef - still talks about the dessert he had there - the strawberry creamcheese cupcake.

and the service was outstanding as well.

be our guest...yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
