What online photo storage site do you use, and do you like it?

I've used Kodakgallery.com for the past 8 years, but I can't stand their new user interface. Their software that you use to edit and upload pictures to their website is impossible to understand (and I consider myself pretty computer saavy). Now they have recently changed their actual website. While it's "prettier," it's also much more difficult to use, plus you can't edit album details after the album's original upload. Argh!

It would take me forever, but I might have time over the holidays to re-upload all my pictures to a different photo site.

Do you have one that you like? Does it have software you can download and use to edit your pictures? Is the user interface intuitive?

Thanks in advance for your help! :)

I use Photobucket and have for a few years. I don't know anything about their photo-editing software, as I use Paint Shop Pro to edit first before I upload. But it's been great for me so far. I have no complaints.

We use shutterfly religiously and love it. Great products, service and they usually have good promotions.

I'll 2nd this!!! I love shutterfly. Before I found shutterfly, I was on snapfish and don't dislike them, I just find shutterfly to be easier to use.

Question on switching.
I've been on Snapfish for years but am tired of how slow it is and want to switch. Looks like Shutterfly will be my next picture home.

However, I have pictures on Snapfish that are no longer available to me on my computer due to a computer crash a few years ago. Is there a way to move them directly from site to site, or do I have to get a CD, put them on my computer and start all over if I switch to another site?

Thanks for the suggestions!

So on shutterfly, do you do all the editing to your pictures online after you've uploaded them?

Photobucket for message board junk.

SmugMug for nice pictures to share with friends & family since the interface works well for people with dial-up, DSL & cable, and any size monitor. I like how you can change everything around, and pictures look fab on their site with nice backgrounds.

Flickr was just horrible for family & friends to try to view pictures on.

I only use Shutterfly & Snapfish for cheap printing. I've printed from SmugMug too for framing.

I do not STORE my photos online. I store them on our harddrive & on a backup 1 terrabyte external harddrive. I've had 2 such "storing" websites go belly-up on me over the years. One overnight with no notice to anyone. Another gave 1 month notice. Luckily, I've never lost pictures because I don't just put them online like some people do. I only put pics online to SHARE, not to STORE.

Not to worry--I have them on both my computer and on DH's external hard drive too. I just like having them online in case something were to happen to our computer equipment (like a lightning strike).

I use Shutterfly. The editing isn't complex, You just click the button to enhance the image (color correction, red eye, black and white, etc).

Just recently signed up with Smugmug. I like it a lot more than Flickr, as it's pretty easy to navigate and as mentioned earlier, pics look great on there.

If your thinking of joining, you can trial for 14 days. If you need a coupon code to join up, I'd also be happy to help. ($5 off)

I've been using photobucket and like it. I also have my own site that I store stuff at. I was going to get rid of it and transfer everything to my photoshop.com account but I am not sure if I like that site. I like how quickly I can back stuff up to there, but it seems very slow.

Which storage site is Mac compatible.....

Thanks
Have a Magical Disney Day!

Photobucket, but thinking about switching.
