Great advice - however, NO WHITE SHIRTS????

Have you seen the PodCast Shirts??????

I HAVE to wear my Podcast Shirt !!!!!!

you know... I was thinking that I really want to wear my podcast shirt to the parks... but I don't like white teeshirts.. maybe I'll tye dye it or something.. wouldn't that be cool??

If I do.. I'll take pics.. I've never tye dyed anything in my life before though!

I only wear white shirts at WDW in the summer and if it is hot enough I wear a wife beater. I could care less if it gets wet but being a guy, I get a few less weird looks when it does. :goodvibes

As counterintuitive as it may seem, I opt for the layered look in hot weather -- I almost always wear a white t-shirt under my 'outer' shirt, which is usually a loose-fitting hawaiian-type number.

I will spare you the sordid detail of the mechanics of what happens, but suffice to say that my 'outer' shirt rarely appears wet. And yes, this works even in the Florida summers . . . .

Can I throw in an opinion here?

Almost no one on this Earth looks good in a "butt-grazer" short. You know the kind...super-short, with cheeks hanging out the bottom? I appreciate that it's hot in Florida, but still: add three inches. What's the difference?:rotfl:

(I speak, of course, about myself when describing those who don't look good in a butt-grazer.)

My advice is never wear pasties or petals. They fall off when you sweat too much. :scared1:

Also, skip the polyester undies/thongs. Go for the cotton! I hate swamp butt.

Loved this segment. My advice is to wear cotton cotton cotton. Leave the jean shorts at home and grab some good old gym short type shorts. Like Nike or Russel shorts. Very comfy and dry quick if you get wet.

:rotfl: I was thinking the exact same thing. I want to wear my Podcast shirt!!

I was hoping that would be a hint for more colors when the new shirts come out.

I think you mean daisy dukes, and there is both an age and weight limit on those.

there are t shirts at Walmart of all places, in the men's sports section, that are ultra light breathable synthetic fabric. They are great for hot days in the parks. a couple days ago at cedar point and the week before at magic kingdom, the material drys really fast and stays light all day. and I have rediscovered compression shorts, better than applying gold bond is compression shorts to keep everything in place, and keep friction from working its evil voodoo.

:scared1: Yikes! I have petals that I purchased specifically for WDW. I think I'll try them outside running in the heat to see if they will stay in place.

Let me know if they work for you!! I live in Texas and it is 100+ degrees now. I would try a different brand if I knew they would stay stuck!! Nothing worse then a petal falling out of the bottom of your top!!!

Good idea . . . think I'll do the same with what I like to call my "hidden Mickey"

Please forgive my ignorance, but what are pasties/petals??? :confused3

I think this may be a women's only post. :lmao: pasties/petals are silicone/sticky backed nippie covers. Here's a link that describes them in a little more detail. http://www.iwearnipplecovers.com/

Yes, guys I know this is TMI but it's what we women have to deal with. :lmao:

I did wear mine out in the heat and didn't have any trouble with them. You have to be very careful not to use any lotion of any kind on that area of your body or they won't stay in place. In fact, it is best to wash and pat dry the area before putting them in place.

I'm not one to make suggestions. When we were in the hospital with our youngest, the nurse asked us what our baby's name was.

We told her.

She paused, gave us one of "those" looks, and said "No, really, what's the name?"

I can hardly wait to hear this thread discuss on one of the PodCasts. popcorn::
