What not to miss when cruising without the kids?

My DW (Cam) and I traveled on the Magic in May '01 with our DD (12) and DS (7). We were in constant touch with beepers while the kids were in the kids clubs (Oceaneer's Lab and/or at Common Grounds). We managed to get some adult (free) time in, but not a lot. This June (22nd) we are going without the kids on the Magic (Western) and was wondering the following..... What shouldn't we miss as adults? We enjoyed the surial bath and Palo's last year and will probably repeat them in June. Anything we should put on our "must do" list? Maybe adults that have traveled many times on the Magic or Wonder can give us some other ideas. Thank you!!

DW and I also enjoyed Palo's and the surial bath. Another nice, quiet diversion is to go to the piano lounge (sorry, I forget the name of it) down in the 'adult' area of the ship. We went there on our way to participate in the "Family Feud" type trivia game, which was also a kick in the pants!! Anyway, we were about 30 minutes early so we went into the lounge just around the corner.
We were the ONLY people in there except for the waitress and the piano player. We sat at a table with a nice view of the water, and enjoyed a drink together in a very relaxing setting. Quite romantic!

Other than that, we didn't have much time away from the kids either! I personally enjoyed the ESPN Sports lounge, except the smoke drove me crazy. (Yuck!)

ENJOY!

Good idea... I don't think we did more than look in on the piano bar/lounge once during the trip. We'll have to try it! Thanks...

We (myself, DW, DD, and DS) were on the same may cruise as you. We just got back from the 3/02 7-day as an adults only. Not sure if they are your thing, but the 'Art of Entertaining' series is great. Also most nights they have Caberet shows with comedians, jugglers, magicians and such. They were very fun.

Thanks for the suggestions. We will most definitely check out every show and series possible. We did manage to see Chef Corey's (from Australia) cooking series last May which featured his Mom's Pavlova. We enjoyed it, and the Pavolva, very much.

I would suggest the wine tasting. Even my DH enjoyed that. Well worth the $12.
