We are arriving the afternoon of November 28 and will be departing the morning of December 3. We have been many times but only a few times for the Christmas party and decorations. What is your not to miss thing to do? Thanks!

We love the Osborne lights & resort hopping to relax and check out all of the beautiful decorations.

1. MK is a must. Look at MVMCP if you are interested.

2. Visit the EPCOT resorts loop, BW, BC, YC Swan and Dolphin for the decoration. (Gingerbread house, candy merry go round)

3. EPCOT see the storytellers in the WS and see the Candlelight Processional. If you can't get into the CP, you can hang around outside the theater and see/hear a good part of it.

4. Do the MK loop of resorts, CR, GF, WL (The Poly not so much)

5. Osborne lights at the studios.

6. If you are inclined there are holiday tours offered.

7. If you have time DTD.

Love these suggestions!

What are the holiday tours?

What are the holiday tours?

In the past there was the "Yuletide Fantasy" and "Holiday D-Lights". Both are currently listed on the WDW site. There are reviews on line for both. Holiday D-lights is listed as $209 and Yuletide is listed as $89, plus tax for both. There are discounts available and if I recall correctly the Disney Visa discount is 20% which is the best discount available.

The "Holiday D-Lights tour was a disaster the first year it was offered so take that into consideration when reading the reviews.

If you are staying on property ALWAYS read the resort newsletter that you are given upon check-in. There are a lot of activities that occur that you may be interested in participating, especially around the Holidays.

We're there the same time as you!

Our plans entail seeing the Osbourne's Lights in Hollywood Studios and we'll try to find the purple cat.

As for MK, the Haunted Mansion is being refurbished starting 12/1, so be sure to get there before then! We're also going to ride the holiday Jingle Jungle Cruise, and we've got tickets to the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

We've also decided to buy the Candlelight Processional package to see Neil Patrick Harris. We're registered at the Rose and Crown to do this. You can see him without buying tickets if you want to, but you may not get a seat. Some people stand in World Showcase and watch.

See you there!!:woohoo:

We'll be there from 11/27 to 12/1. Going to see the Osbourne Lights as well as attending the MVMCP. Planning to check out some of the decorations at the resorts and at DTD. :wave2:

Thank you! We're there the same time as the OP and a little beyond, and have stayed that time for several years. I just wasn't aware of those two opportunities for some reason.

Hello! I am going at the same time but leaving on the 5th. I had snagged a reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern but was unable to add 2 more people. The agent suggested The Diamond Horseshoe which opens RARELY. I was able to get a ressie. I think it's open on the 28th and 29th. I have been over 50 times since 1972 and we went then but if you read the blogs about it it's a wonderful opportunity. I'm excited! We're also going to see Neil Patrick Harris (he's great by the way) and be sure to go to the resorts especially the grand Floridian, the Wilderness Lodge and Animal kingdom. The decorations are beautiful.

Our first trip during this time frame, we usually go in late Sept./Early Oct.
We are celebrating two birthdays, MVMCP on the 2nd, Osborne lights.

Also our first time upgrading to a deluxe!

Still trying for the elusive BOG on 12/2, no luck from 180 days on..cross your fingers!

We will be there too for the first time with holiday decorations. We arrive Nov 29 and depart on Dec 4th. Our last park day will be the 3rd. I got all the Fastpasses I wanted and will also be seeing Neil Patrick Harris for CP, and hae MVMCP tickets. So excited!!!

Since we are flying out of WI at 6am on the 29th, and MK is open late that night, I am hoping our room will be ready when we arrive for a short nap before heading to the park. Our first FP+ is from 5-6 that night.
