My family of 3 with 1 teenage kid is stopping by USF for a day. So far all we got down as a must-do is the Despicable Me ride. Any thing you experts would recommend as un-missable and super fun?

A whole day at the Studios? Make your way around and do it all. I wouldn't miss Mummy, Simpsons, ET, Men in Black. I also love the Terminator show and the Horror Makeup. You are in for a great time.

If you are a fan of 80s music, DO NOT miss the Beetlejuice show. It's such a great show, I've seen it multiple times in a single trip. The Simpsons, the Mummy, and Men in Black are also must dos.

there are very few things i take a pass on in the studios.
i don't do the RRR, Barney and kid zone.

many of the rides/shows i do repeats in the same day.

i like the variety that you can find in the Studios.

Agreed...everything in that park is worth experiencing at least once (well:rolleyes: maybe not Twister, but that's just my opinion) The Mummy is my favorite ride, one I make sure to hit multiple times per trip.
also, I may be in the minority here, but I LOVE rrr...If you can ride it at night, it's even better. (again, just my opinion)

I've had great rides on RRR and I've had rides that were so painful and head rattling that I got a major headache. Until all the cars are repaired, I won't ride it again.

Thank you for all the responses! Will finalize a plan soon.

General question, are lines usually shorter at USF compared to Disney parks?

Don't miss the Blues Brothers! I haven't been to UO since 2010 but i love their show

I can understand that...last time we went, our first ride was so jerky and bumpy..it was in the last row, so I chalked it up to that 'back of the vehicle' effect :confused3 but we've been extremely lucky to only have that one not-so-smooth ride

My DH has a bad back, he will ride RRR if the gkids need him to but it really messes with his back and neck. I've nvr riden bc I get motion sick but he says it's a head jerker.

I'm surprised to see these comments about RRR. When we were there last time I didn't notice anything like that. The Hulk however, left me feeling like I needed to see a Chiropractor!
