What not to miss at CA Adventures?

I really can't add anything that hasn't already been said....

Yes I can!! I love the muppets. I will admit the show is old, but it is still funny.

(Lisa to Homer) "Dad, what's a muppet?"

(Homer) "Well it's not quite a mop and it's not quite a puppet... but man can they... ha ha. In answer to your question... I don't know."

What not to miss...CA Screamin'...If you're going with a little one, but have the opportunity to get a child switch pass, go. ;)

With little ones: A Bug's Land.

Have a great time!

That is funny.....it's not a very big town is it? LOL Suddenly a song comes to mind......

It's a Small World After All......LOL

I think of you everytime I drive thru suisun city- going to tahoe, or Fairfield, etc. It's a great name that sticks with you. ;)

That's funny, I do too everytime we drive up to Lincoln. And then I think how much of a shorter drive to DLR she has than us because she doesn't have to drive through the mess in Oakland.

Awwww, you guys are making me blush. :lovestruc And yes, our drive is a tad shorter than yours, but I've driven to DL from Oakland (DBF works in Berkeley, the girls and I had to pick him up one trip because he had work to get done before he could leave) and we've driven back that way as well. I didn't like it, way too much traffic. It's much better when we leave from our house! lol

You could always PM me if you're passing thru, maybe it'd be a good time for a quick stop and a mini meet....:goodvibes

Wow, I didn't realize that a lot of the rides at DCA are the same as WDW.

This is not technically accurate. Soarin' is better themed at DCA. Griz Rapids is far better than Kali. Screamin' is unique, a kick, & a must do. ToT is a little better at DS (but very similar). Crush & the Muppets are the same.

Although I have been to WDW a dozen times, I stil have not been on Soarin, so I will make it a point to go on that!

:thumbsup2

Unfortunately I will only be in Anaheim for a day and a half , so my half day will be our Mickeys trick or treat party night and our full day will be at Disneyland park.

Assuming you have a 2 day park hopper (& if not why not?).....why wouldn't you "Hop" each day? Most disers Hop each day the 100 yards between DL & DCA during the crowded afternoon. (or when DL starts to get crowded)....& then hop back to DL.....then you could enjoy the dozen or so attractions recommended in all the posts above.

I'm Super excited to check out all the halloween decor and of course the haunted mansion transformed into NBC!!!!!

Read all of HydroGuy's tip threads (the info for WDW vets & FP collection is invaluable). Also you might read my Park Hop thread (in his tip theads) & my one day TR below (assuming you only have 1 1/2 - 2 days to enjoy DLR.

Have a great time at Walt's Park. :thumbsup2
