What nights are fireworks at Magic Kingdom?

This is off topic but if you go to the Disneyland fireworks schedule right now, it’s every night. Maybe it wasn’t right after the post-covid reopening, I don’t know.

As far as I know it has to do with time of year and agreements with Anaheim. Less busy times. Weekends only. Busy times like right now through the holidays nightly.

Last time I went to Disneyland there were fireworks every night.

Wonder what gives then? I've read it's only on weekends too. I've never been so I don't know.

Off topic, but Disneyland is in an urban area surrounded by residences. Per their agreement with the city of Anaheim during the school year (with some exceptions) fireworks are allowed only on weekends. During the summertime, spring break, winter holiday season (so right now) and on certain other occasions as negotiated there are fireworks every night.

Another question. Since the fireworks are held an hour before the park closes, do many people position themselves where they can get to a favorite ride after the fireworks end? For example, say if someone wanted to get a last ride on Tiana, are they apt to watch the fireworks from Frontierland? Or might they watch the fireworks from Fantasyland so they can make a quick run over to 7DMT afterwards? Or are people mostly on Main Street and shopping afterwards?

I'm not sure that a lot of people necessarily position themselves for that, but people do run for the rides (or the exit) once the fireworks are over.

And I know you just used that as an example, buy you couldn't do that with Tiana's anyway. It's still VQ or LL only (unless it's during a party).

We have never experienced a timeframe when WDW does not have fireworks every night at MK and Epcot.
