So I've been planning this trip forever, and now we are only 3 months away :woohoo: and I think I have everything planned. The itinerary is set, I've read every tip and trick I could possibly remember. And I'm kind of upset that I am sooo ready. What do you guys do to keep the excitement going and the still feed the obsessive need to plan?
Can anyone relate, cause I feel like I'm crazy! ;) And I'm pretty sure everyone else agrees.:rotfl:

Well, I must agree...I've been planning for a while, but I only have 40 days before we are there, can't wait. Today I put out all of our luggage in the spare room and started packing...is that too much? haha.

I have made a binder of our itinerary divided by parks and dining. Tips from TGM. Made a packing list too.

I hope I don't forget anything...

I think I will start to set up my scrapbook pages, that way I can just insert my photos and away I go. And since I do it all on the computer I can change anything I need to anyway.
I just wish my family would get as excited as I am, they're happy to be taking a vacation, but not nearly as excited as I am to get to disney.
I have been wanting to go for as long as I can remember and now we are finally going
I think I may actually shed some happy tears when I see the castle for the first time. Is that a little too much or what?

I stare at my ADRs wondering if there's anything I should change then tell myself they're fine.
Listen to Disney music and park music on the web.
And lurk and post on here!

Me Too, and I read about DVC and dream about one day being able to do that! To be able to stay at one of the deluxe resorts, now thats the way to vacation.:tink: Throw some pixie dust all over that DREAM.

My trip is a month away and I have no idea how I will make a month:lmao: Everything is pretty much planned (we don't do that much planning to start with) and I don't know how to get my disney fixing for the next month. I usually plan when I need a fixing!

40 days that isn't too much, Leave for the world in 79 days and I have already started some packing.

I usually use my BOGO for Shampoo, Purex laundry sheets, soap, hairspray, etc when they have them on sale BOGO I put the ones I get for free in a the suitcase, bag, etc.. that it is going to Disney in and it's ready to go when we are...so needless to say I always start packing about 90 days out.

I am very OCD when it comes to planning I have my binder with:
Hotel addresses, phone and fax numbers
Driving directions(not needed now got tomtom for Christmas)
To do list from 3 days out until we return from vacation
Park and resort maps.
Menus
ADR's
Everyone's Must do's
Housekeeping/Mouse keeping tip envelopes
Daily Budget envelopes
etc....

At that point I usually start reading everybody's trip report. By the time we go to leave I've read any trip report that has been posted for the past six months. lol! :)

We usually stay off resort...what do you usually give for mousekeeping tips?

Where do you find trip reports,

gosh, thought I was getting close to prepared, and now I find stuff I didnt' think of, OMGoodness....:rolleyes1

We usually declare 1 night a week (if I had my way, it would be 3 nights...) as Disney night. Put on our Disney gear (pjs, tee shirts...) pop in a Disney movie, grab some Disney snacks. Discuss what things we are looking forward to doing.
Then I'll study my packing list to see what else I need to get, what else I can pack now...
And of course, there's the Disboards! :surfweb:

ohhhhh..... I wanna Disney night!
I have exactly three months today and when I told my DS's this morning they started getting excited. So maybe this weekend we will have a Disney night, what are the must sees and what is everyone expecting from this trip. I like the disney gear and snacks idea. The question is what movie will we watch, we have some old VHS ones that maybe I should pull out, or Toy Story, that was always a favorite when the kids were young.
