What "new and improved" product do you wish hadn't been improved?

MMMMM fried McD's pies. I loved the cherry ones. I hadn't had one in years and then I went to Germany in 2000. All the McD's there still fry them up. I gorged on them till I was sick!

The apple turnovers at KFC are very similar to the old McD's pies, with the deep fried crunch crust...very good!

I loved Scotties tissues, where you could reach in the box instead of having it "pop up". When I gotta sneeze I don't want to have to play around trying to get a tissue out, (I have lots of allergies). And the Puffs have lotion on them that smears on the bottom of my glasses when I blow my nose.

Are you my Mother in Law? :teeth: (She only uses Scotties and was just complaining about the pop up box this weekend. And she won't use Puffs since they are scented and make her sneeze. )

Kix cereal. Last time I had them, they had some sugary coating on them. It was ick.

Coca-Cola. Coke "Classic" isn't the same as original Coke. The original was made with sugar, the "Classic" is made with corn syrup. It tastes different. And when they changed Swanson Chicken Pot Pies to "microwavable" they ruined the crust. Some things just shouldn't be made "microwaveble."

Something about the Diet Coke w Splenda that I don't like. Too sweet for me. Had to switch to Pepsi One.

I used to love Burger King fries until they changed them several years back. Nasty nasty nasty stuff.

YES, YES...we miss the PIES!!

YES! I am feeling that pain! AND Ive mentioned it to people before and no one remembers my caramel-free Whatchamacallit!!!
I remember the carmel-free Whatchamacllit. But it has been so long since they have done that I got used to the caramel. Though it was still better w/o.

I think they still sell regular coke in Mexico...and it DOES taste better.

McDonald's Apple pies. They used to have the crust that was like deep fried. Now its baked because its healthier. If I wanted to be healthier than I wouldn't be at McDonalds!
I agree. BTW, KFC has the "old" fried ones but they call them turnovers.

Coca-Cola Classic. it really does not taste like the original Coke, before they "brought it back."

It is my understanding they went back to the original recipe.

But that New Coke. :scared1:

Burger King Fries.

I don't like that coating garbage on my fries. Whatever makes them that way--I don't like it!

It is the orignal recipe...but with corn syrup instead of cane sugar like it used to be.

Corn is subsidised in our country and is therefore much cheaper to buy than sugar cane, which is often imported with tariffs.

I'm with you on the pot pies. I don't know why they can't just make two types, non microwavable and microwavable. After all they sure are offering a lot of different flavors these days.:)
Kim (who still only likes the regular chicken pot pies)

Land O' Lakes margarine, they took all the transfat out and now it is runny and gross.

Revlon Colorstay make-up...

It was great for covering acne/scars.

The new 'lighter' version does not have as good of coverage.

Im backing you up on this one.... AND not only is it not as good with coverage, they dropped the size by .5 ounces too...

Less of a crappier product, for a bigger price-tag!!! Thanks!

Im seriously bummed about this one. That was my Holy Grail makeup (I think you were the other one who mentioned it on a "which makeup to get" thread) I do have to say - when it was on clearance everywhere, I picked up 3 for 1/2 price, so I should be okay for awhile. :teeth:

Whenever I wanted a lighter coverage, I'd mix some lotion in with my application! I could bust the lip of the one who came up with THAT brilliant "new and improved" idea! pirate:

I have 2 things. I used to LOVE the thin mint Girl Scout cookies from the early 90's. Now they are gross.

I also used to like Good and Fruity candy. They changed the flavoring and now they are gross too.

This can be a regional thing. Not all GS cookies are made by the same company. Around here, there are 2 companies: ABC and Little Brownie Bakers. They make the "same" cookies but some of them taste very different.

Kraft Mac and Cheese used to be my favorite. I made it for my son the other day--it was NASTY

Try the "Thick and Creamy" version. That's some good stuff!
