What my 10 month old liked in the parks:

We took him to DW for first time last week. He loved it and did great! We did not take mid-day breaks, except for one day to swim (which he loved the pool). He napped as he wanted/needed in the stroller, or on us in an attraction. He really enjoyed:
--MK: Philharmagic, Tiki Room, Dumbo (didn't pay attention that he was in the air--he liked playing with the stick that makes you go up and down :goodvibes), Magic Carpets (same reason), Peter Pan, Country Bear Jamboree, and there were others he liked, but the ones mentioned he LOVED.
--Hollywood Studios: Playhouse Disney
--AK: Triceratop Spin, Nemo musical
--Epcot: The Land
And he absolutely loved meeting the characters, esp. the ones in full costume (aww, he giggled and jabbered so much to Piglet).
He wasn't crazy about the Pooh ride. When it was stormy and started jerking around a little, he nuzzled into my chest and clung onto my shirt. I am sure there were other things he enjoyed, but we got home late last night from the trip; so I can't think real straight right now:)

So cute! I will have a 10 month old when we travel, so this is so exciting!

Looks like we did all the opposite things from you except for Dumbo! Our LO went @ 9 mos and again @ 21 mos. He enjoyed the Adventures of Pooh, It[s a Small World, Journey into Imagination, The Muppetvision show (even @ 9 mos), The Seas with Nemo & Friends, the astro orbiter, Pirates of the Caribbean, the peoplemover, and both the toy story rides. He didn't care much for Carousel of Progress, but then, neither did my hubs! :)

When we took our DS when he was 9 months old, his favorite ride was Haunted Mansion - he laughed and laughed through the whole ride. We actually took him on two more times to see if it wasn't a fluke - and it wasn't - he just laughed and laughed all three times!

Thanks, my son will be 9 or 10 months when I take him and my daughter this fall. We were in the Disney Store this weekend to spend a gift card my daughter got for her birthday and I found the largest stuffed Mickey and put it right in his face. He had no reaction whatsoever, but at least he didn't freak out. Of course he is just under 4 months old. The only things that bother him are loud noises (gets startled and "jumps") and the dark (eyes get really wide). How did you take him on rides? Did you wear him (if so in what?) or just hold him?

Oh, he rode everything with us that didn't have a height restriction. The ones I mentioned were just his faves:)

Hey, DH or I held him for most rides. However, I definitely wore him in my Mei Tai Carrier for Toy Story Mania (because of the severe jerking), and for Pirates and Maelstrom (because of those hills). LOVE my Babyhawk Mei Tai, which I thank all of you on here for recommending it. Would have been lost without it. I couldn't wear him all day in it, but it helped getting through the lines for rides. Rest of time he was in stroller, or if we were doing baby swap, we would get him out and let him move around some.
