What musical instruments can/did you play

Piano for about 5 years

Flute.............. since I was 5

Piano Accordian.............very very short lived

Guitar...........about 1 year

I can play flute/piccolo (which are my main instruments), clarinet, oboe, alto and tenor sax, trombone, percussion and I'm taking piano lessons

I started playing clarinet in 3rd grade and played it through hs.
I can also play......xylophone, now we are complete. When is rehearsal?

Oh, band trips, ya gotta luv em.

Now my ds is a band geek. He started with drums, decided to try french horn and is now back to drums.

Oh man, I was a total band geek! I play the flute and piccolo and I was in school band, our city's concert & marching band as well as our provincial youth orchestra. I did the band camps for 3 years (met my first BF there and had my first kiss so I'll always remember it). I also was an alternate for our symphony for a couple of years. On top of this I took private lessons and also taught them myself for 10 years! I still play every week in a Ukrainian orchestra and dance group (I'm very Irish, but the music is quite difficult and very fast so it keeps me on my toes!). I've been to WDW twice to perform (once with our marching band in 1983 and once with our Ukrainian group in 1995) which was so much fun! I hope to always keep playing because after 23 yrs of practice I hate to give it up (and since i'm an accountant by trade, it's nice to have a completely different hobby!).

I played the alto sax for 2 years. I absolutly loved it. Unfortunatly, the music director at my HS was a huge...jerk. Many very good musicians quit band because of him and his very ignorant personality.

I also took a semester of piano my second year in college. I havn't kept with it, but it was fun to learn. If i ever get around to it (AND have the money) i would love to take lessons for piano, or maybe some other instrument along with lessons in dance. I danced for 11 years and miss it horribly.

I have an instrumental music degree, so now I play "everything", but my favorites are still sax and flute. I teach woodwind instruments in a studio. My least favorite is clairnet.
