I rarely make threads but I needed some help.
I wanted to buy some kind of MP3 player because I don't really like my Disney Mixstick all that much. It only holds up to around 50 songs and you have to sort through all of them just to find one certain song.
I'd only want around 100/200 songs on it. (I have no clue when it comes to GBs at all. That'd be a 1/2?)
Any suggestions? Thanks. :D

Zune. For sure. I'm listening to mine while I type this.

I have about 400 songs on mine, and I think it's a 30GB. My mom got mine really cheap, about $100 on sale 2 years ago. Still works wonderfully, has hardly ever froze up, sounds great, holds video, podcast, radio, pictures, and a few games. (:

for only a couple hundred songs, go buy a cheap basic mp3 player at Wal*Mart.

I'm in love with my iPod, though. I've got a 8GB Nano and it's only about half full with 1,052 songs on it.

i have a disney mixmax thing. I want an ipod tho. The disney mixmax can fit a good amount of songs tho, and i got a card for it so it can hold more. :)

I have a Colby MP3.

It's like full at 469 songs. About 50 or so dollars.

It can hold pictures. It says it can hold video but mine won't for some reason.

You can get cheap ones at Walmart or someplace like that. It's like 2G, which is like 500 or so songs, for like $50 - $70. I don't think it'll be a quality electronic though, and I don't know how long it'll last.

So if you want quality along with value, I'd say iPod. The prices have gone down A LOT! And the shuffles are super cheap.

I have an 8GB iPod Nano...it works really good. I've had it since Christmas 2008 and it rarely freezes up. It holds up to 2000 songs (I only have 209 on mine, so it's barely full), 7000 pictures, and 8 hours of video.

If you want something that will last you, I'd go with an iPod.

The smallest size they make is the 4G iPod Shuffle, holds up to 1000 songs. It's $79.
Or for $150 they have the 8G iPod nano that holds up to 2000 songs, assuming you have no movies, shows, or photos on it (all of which it can hold and view).

Here's Apple's compare site...

i have that little ipod nano third generation.
its a 4 gb. and its enough for me.
i have about 400 songs on mine.
and a couple tv shows and movies.
it wasnt too expensive.
and with all the new versions out,
the price should have dropped.
i would check ebay.

iPods are epically amazing.

The really little ones are cheaper now. They hold 500 or less songs.

Mine holds about 2000 (maybe? I haven't tested its limits) but I have an iTouch.

I absoulutly love my Zune! It's a 4gb mp3 and I have like 500 songs, a few movies, and pictures. It was pretty expensive, but I got it when they first came out so they're cheaper now... I think. The only thing is they have to plug into the computer's usb port to charge, though you can buy a charging dock from the Zune company. They come in many different gb sizes that con all fit many songs.

I hope this helps!:music:
