What months do they offer FREE Dining Plan???

I have been to WDW the past 2 summers with my DD and purchased the DDP both years! I was talking with someone at our resort pool 8-2007 and found out they took advantage of the free plan. Guess I missed it! Well, judging by ohter posts in the forums, I guess this is a regular thing that WDW offers in August & September. Do they offer it any other times? We will be going December 2008, but have not booked yet! Anyone know???

They've never offered it in any other months than August/September. It started off as an incentive to help bring in people during the hurricane season. You may have bad weather, but you do get to eat for free!

Happily I don't think that there have been any hurricanes during free dining, so customers are getting the best of both worlds.

I don't remember seeing anything for December, I think they have enough business that they don't feel the need to offer anything. There may be a free upgrade to park hopper or something, we got that in Feb this year.

Free dining in Sept isn't carved in stone, that's just what they've done the last few years. As with any discount, it's based on things like resort bookings, etc., I would assume. We got the free dining in late Aug 2005 and it was great!!
