What months are considered offseason?

Thinking of planning a trip next year since ds will start kindergarten next September and probably be the only time I can take him out of school so wondering what months are considered offseason. I know September and possibly October are but any other time a good time to go?

Its not so much certain months as it is certain times of the year. Early november is fall season. But late november is thanksgiving season. The first week of january is value season. But the prices go up for marathon weekend. And each resort level has its own seasons. So value resorts have a summer season that runs thru august thirteenth but the deluxes go to value season on july seventeenth. Pretty much any time the kids are in school is off-season.

Since Spring Breaks vary, most of March and April is peak season.

we were down there two weeks ago and were told that high season starts in Oct.

I've found the crowds have been low to moderate during September, October, first two weeks of November, first two weeks of December, January - other than the week of the holiday (Martin Luther King), first two week of February, first couple of weeks of May. The last two weeks of May into the first two weeks of June can be good too, but we've also been during those times and its been crowded. Since some school start to get out mid-May, its just luck.
