I am considering throwing myself a birthday weekend party event in 2027. I live in Georgia so most of my guests would arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday making Saturday the biggest celebration day. Part of my idea is to arrange a VIP tour for myself and my guests on Saturday. My birthday is in June and I am worried about the heat and afternoon showers. If you could choose any month to do a vip tour, when would you choose?

Is the cost of the VIP tour playing into your decision? That can vary greatly depending on which time of year you visit.

Will your guests be visiting parks on the Friday and Sunday or only during the VIP tour? If only during the tour I would go whenever you wish as the tour greatly reduces the amount of time you are out in the elements.

If you are looking purely based on weather, we find late April, early May to often be beautiful weather.

This time of year right now is great but can be pricey.

It may be worth comparing the difference between the second half of April to the first half of May.

The alternative would be late Oct up to mid Nov.

I think these are ‘peak’ WDW.

I’d say mid-October to mid-December for good weather, if you can avoid runDisney weekends, Jersey Week, Veterans Day, etc. However, we love January, after MLK weekend. The weather can be cold, cool, or comfortable, but it won’t be hot and humid, rain is less likely than in summer, the parks are relatively less crowded, and DVC points costs are lower (I have no idea how cash resort prices are, sorry).

Any month except June, July, August, and September when it's really hot and humid.

If you want to do some water based things as well as theme parks March, April, and May are really nice (probably the best weather) - warm but not the crazy humidity. Spring break crowds are something to watch for though. But if doing a VIP tour maybe that's not a factor for you. Used to love love love spring break, but I now avoid it if I am not traveling with teachers in the family due to the heavy crowds. Also, definitely avoid Christmas break time (crazy busy).

Other than that, go when it works best for your party schedule wise.

We have visited several times in late April/early May and have mostly experienced lovely weather. Of course never any guarantees weather-wise, but the parks were usually not crazy busy. It’s my preferred time to visit.

The summer months are much too hazy/hot/humid/rainy and personally we try to avoid them now (after many years following school and sports team calendars), but don’t always succeed.

We also find January and February to be mostly okay (avoiding the holiday weeks). We like Oct/Nov/early Dec too (parks are gorgeous), but there’s a lot going on - which can be awesome (festivals, Jersey Week, holiday parties), but also make it crazy busy at times too.

I love the first two weeks of May. Crowds are low and generally so are prices. The weather is hot but it's not as humid or rainy as June - September is. Plus it's close to your actual birthday!

Would never go to Disney in June-Sept.........way too hot/humid. Not sure if having a VIP tour makes any difference. My impression is those tours typically involve some amount of avoiding rides lines which reduces the amount of time in the blazing sun.

We went in early May a few years ago and some of the parks were wall-to-wall people even in the middle of the week. I suspect most Disney parks are crowded all year long. I doubt you will ever find a perfect time for low crowds/good weather.

Personally for 2027, I would wait to see what construction might be ending and where. Get the most bang for my really expensive buck.

June. It’s your birthday. It’s a birthday celebration. If you are coming from Georgia you know how to deal with hot weather. It can rain any month, so that’s always a risk.
