October 20th, 1996 here. In Massachusetts October is very nice. The weather can be in the 60's/ 70's or even 80's and the leaves are a beautiful backdrop for pictures. Of course the weekend before our wedding and the weekend after were 80 and sunny. Our weekend there was a stom so huge the waves at the ocean were crashing over the sea wall. The rain was coming down in buckets! No outside pictures for us. They say October is the new June for weddings!

Happy Anniversary! We were married in April of 1996.. just celebrated our 8th!

Nov. 24, 1971. It was the day before Thanksgiving. Made my very first Thankgiving dinner. I was only 18 years old and had never cooked a TD before.

Over the years our anniversary has been before, after and on Thanksgiving day. This year it is the day before Thanksgiving again.

Mentioned in the "Where did you get married?" thread that it was a church after Easter (cuz of the flowers!) so that was April - and it was three days before my birthday! (And then Mother's day is two weeks later - it's just one gift after another for me!!)
