What moderate resort should we choose? Help Dis'rs

We've made our jet blue ressies for July 8 - July 15 for our third trip to the world

We have stayed at CBR and loved it and then stayed at CSR and really loved it

My Daughter and I want to go back to CSR, my son (8) dosnt know we are going back yet (will suprise him on his birthday) and my wife wants to try somthning new again! Thats why we went to CSR the second trip.

So should we return to CSR or try one of the Port Orleans Resorts. Im a little scared of the bus issues I have read about here regarding PO, and really loved the pepper market

So, help! should I convince my wife not to try PO or roll the dice by the way we will be celebrating my wifes birthday while we are there and I am going to suprise her with a spa treatment at the world

Disney's resorts have themes.

I would choose the theme that most appealed to my family and try it out.

CBR has the wonderful beach area.

POFQ has the New Orleans look.

POR has the Ab section and the Mansions with the deep south look.

And CSR has the southwest look.

'CBR is 340 square feet and the other mods are 314.

They are basically laid out the same but CSR only has 1 sink (the other have 2 sinks.)
CSR does not have a luggage seat.

POFQ is not as spread out as the other mods or the values.


POR CBR and CSR are very spread out.


The mods have pool slides, a hot tub and a sit down restaurant (POFQ doses not have a sit down restaurant but shares with POR.)

POFQ and POR are concidered sister resorts so they share pools.

When staying at one of these resorts you can use the other resort's pool.
You can also refill your refillable mug at either of the food courts.


Some of the rooms at POR in the AB section have a trundle bed and can sleep 5.

CBR has 7 bus stops.
CSR has 4 bus stops.
PO has 5 stops. 1st stop POFQ then 4 stops at POR.
POFQ & POR do have a boat to DTD.

I would choose the CSR: one--because we love it and it is our favorite; and second--you want to treat your wife to a spa treatment and I get a massage at the CSR every year and it is wonderful! And we love the Pepper Market too.

I also would choose CSR The buses there are Fabulous.. always got a seat, and short lines and waits! The pepper market cant be beat as well. I have stayed at both and def prefer CSR for these reasons!

I've been saying try something new for nine years but I keep ending up at CSR. Maybe a split stay?

I have to put in a vote for POFQ. We had no probs with the bus and found that on many occasions in the am it didn't even go to POR. Great pool, and loved the boat to DTD! After all of the walking at the parks it is a very quiet, small and quaint place to stay. Also I didn't think much of it before I got there but I really liked the curtain between the vanity/dressing area and the room. It came in handy since other family members would walk in and out of our room at times. Good luck deciding and no matter what just remember you're in DISNEY WORLD!!!! So don't worry!!!!!

I don't think you could make a wrong choice! I love POR-especially in one of the mansions. It's a fun resort and I love the theme. I also like POFQ. It's smaller and has a great pool. But, If you love CSR, go back there maybe in a different type of room. Maybe do as another poster said and split 2 resorts. We didn't have any issues with the buses at POR. It is hard to pick!

Stay with what you know you like. I stayed at POR and POFQ and didn't care for them as much as CSR!! The shared buses are a nightmare compared with CSR.
