DIFFERENT from the "traditional"???
I remember an old boss of mine telling me she had lasagna every year at her Thanksgiving because of her Italian roots. I thought "wow, I need to go to HER house!"
I read and see on TV how many people have mashed potatoes and green bean casserole for dinner. My family NEVER had those at Thanksgiving! At other dinners maybe but never at Thanksgiving.
Also, I've never tasted PUMPKIN pie, we ALWAYS had sweet potato pie. They look so much alike, when I mistook one for the other I

. I also make challah bread. I found a really good bread machine recipe, and made it one year just to try it out. I now have to make 2 loaves-one for my 19 year old son, and one for everyone else
