Some Brief Pre-Trip Ramblings
This little getaway is all about ME (Shell), a 30 year old Disney lovin' hippie whose life is filled with more chaotic confusion than I can take. Hopefully this trip will relax me and because I think of Disney as a "comfort zone" it will refuel me for what I have to face in the upcoming months.
I so wanted to write a long, detailed trip report, but I just don't have it in me. Still, I wanted to share my pre-trip excitement and of course my pics and fun after the trip, so I hope you don't mind.
Here is what my schedule looks like:
August 20th -- Late flight from Phillly to Orlando
August 21st -- Fort Wilderness check-in; shopping at Downtown Disney and Pirate and Princess Party
August 22nd -- Magic Kingdom
August 23rd -- really early flight home
I know, I know, it's a really brief trip, but I'm going back in the end of October with my parents, sister and niece. DH refuses to go back to WDW, says he never cares if he goes again, so I figure I can afford to take short trips every now and then if it's just me.
I absolutely can't wait for the PPP. In March, I went to one of the last ones and had a blast. This time around, I plan on putting together some Jack Sparrow pieces, not really a full costume, but something fun. My three main goals for this trip are to meet Jack Sparrow at PPP, have my picture taken with Ariel (out of my almost 30 trips to WDW, I've never "met" her) and to see the new Monster's Inc. attraction. I'm also on a mission to see how many characters I can "meet" in such a short trip.
