What Makes You Different?

In other words, what makes you stand out from the rest of the population?
What makes people either thing your A) Strange or B) Odd?
Uniqueness is really just beauty in disguise.

What makes me different:
~I hold on to things that I should really let go. (AKA Michael Jackson)
~I am obsessive with certain things. (Twilight, MJ, etc.)
~I do and say what I want. Whether it offends people or not.

So what makes you different?

-im weird
- i eat weird food combinations
- i watch hannah montana
- im super shy
- i laugh at lame jokes

to be honest, what makes me different from a lot of people i know is that i have standards and morals that are important to me.
i am from a hicktown where drinking and partying are a right of passage.
but i have never in my life drank, smoked, or done any type of drug.
that is just based on the people in my town though.

also, i am not much of a girly girl.
i'll do my hair, shop, and put on makeup.
but give me a demo derby and a ufc fight over a chick flick any day.

ohhh, and my favorite foods are hominy and fried okra.

I like wrestling. That's odd for girls that I know.

I'm not musically inclined. That's not special in the large world out there, but I'm the only one in my group of friends that isn't.

I've never played Rockband, Guitar Hero, or Halo.

I write slash fanfiction? I dunno. I don't really know anybody else who does that.

Men younger than 30 are usually not attractive to me at all.

I have dreams and goals. I set the bar high and if I don't get exactly that or better, I'm a mess. I have way too much determination for a person of my stature. If you tell me I can't do something, I'm going to do it and I'm going to do it 10 times better than you could.

I know exactly what I want and I will do everything within my power to get it. (Like, a lot of people question my choice about going into nursing. They say "oh, well one day you might find that you like being an MRI tech or a phlebotomist better". No. I know what I want to do, just because I'm young does NOT mean I'm stupid.)

I'm honest, mostly too honest. Most of the slaps-on-my-face come from being TOO honest and in the process, insulting someone.

I'm a mediocre gymnast. I've never learned to do a cartwheel or a roundoff. The only handstands I do are underwater.

I get really into movies. Like, I almost get obsessed with them and I have to watch it over and over. LOL, and then I move onto something bigger and better.

most of those things are pretty much me.
Except for a few more:

- Ladies and gentlemen, I like to sing opera. I know it sounds kinda funky, but I just looooove those big high notes. Haha.
- I looove love love pickles.
- I am extremely bubbly & hyper; my friends know that something's wrong when I'm not [or when I'm not snacking on the pickles they usually buy me when I'm staying over ]
- I do not wear like, much makeup at all. Actually, you will rarely see me wearing makeup that's NOTICEABLE, public or otherwise. The only thing I might put on day-to-day is mascara, just to elongate my eyelashes a teeny bit. But I have HUGE eyelashes and, y'know, these big bug-eyed blue eyes, so if I put on too much, it looks like I just came from the dead. I don't do foundation, or any of that stuff. Actually, I have a friend who does all this tons of makeup EVERY SINGLE DAY, and I was just like, "WHAT?!?!" Haha.
-I really am not much of a girly-girl; I have a lot of guy friends, because I just despise drama in any form. Lol

i have almost obsessive issues with certain foods. (today my mom jokingly called me autistic because i was picking the "green things" off my pasta at outback and i couldn't eat the chicken because of how it looked. lol)

and when i make a decision (which i can do, quickly) i never waiver on it, and i don't want to hear about other options. i'm not wishywashy or easy to discourage about any decision i made.

i'm mature. i know everyone says that, but i really feel more mature than people that i know. i finished high school in 3 years, and moved out on my own to go to a college that i selected. at 17, i feel more mature than a lot of people who are a lot older than me.

i don't own a single piece of makeup.
