What makes Florida so special to us british

Here's my list

1.The look of excitment on my Daughters face.
2.Swmming with the Dolphins. (Magical).
3.Swimming in the pools at nearly midnight.(and staying warm)
4.All That Disney has to offer.
5.The fact that I can walk into any theme park and feel 20 years younger than I am.

Here's to August for my 3rd Trip to Disney and our 1st Wonder Cruise.

Just 5?

  • The Weather - beautifull all year round
The people - Americans are just so friendly
The service - something we don't get in the UK
The cleanliness - everywhere is kept very neat & tidy
The Shopping - forget 'rip-off-Britain' this is shopping how it should be.
I love it!

This is a hard one!!!
I love:
1. I love it when the you get off the plane and the heat just hits you when you leave the terminal building
2. The very first "Have a nice day maaaaam" that you get - which is usually about 30 seconds after landing!!
3. The sunshine of course!
4. Poderosa breakfasts, well just ponderosa in general I guess!!!
5. Cinderella's Castle, still brings tears to my eyes the first time i see it, it reminds me of my first trip with my folks when I was 9 years old.

NEXT!!!!!:teeth:

Boy,

5 things . . . . let me think

MK - deffy #1
the food
the weather
the service
the people we meet

Could think of a lot more but that seems to me to be the top 5 where we are concerned.

Hi,
This is my first ever posting 4 days after my first ever Florida trip and this made me smile. Its so nice to know that everyone here can understand why I feel so down now....I want to go back!!
All this from someone who didnt even want to go in the first place.
My top 5 disney memories:

1. The friendly american people
2.The cleanliness of ...welll everywhere
3. Getting soaked on the bridge at the Tangayika tidal wave, busch gardens
4. Epcot...and well all of the disney resorts
5. Seeing my two teenage daughters be my babies again at a disney character breakfast...

and you all know that I could list forever here.

love sharone

Hiya Sharone, I know what you mean about enjoying it when at first you didn't really want to go. First time I dragged my hubby out there (I'd already been once but about 15 years previously) and he was going for my sake - but he enjoyed every minute of it and now has got the WDW and Florida bug.

You know the best way to get over the post-holiday blues? Book another holiday LOL.
