what major in college if i wanted to work at disney?

hey everyone, just needed some advice.

i'm leaving for college this fall, and i've declared my major already, but i want to change it. and the reason behind this decision is because i want to major in something that'll help me out in disney, since i want to move down there after college and work there.

so my question is, what type of major should i go for? my ultimate dream job would be as a photographer, but unfortunatly, there isn't a specific major for that. anything related to or similar to that?

any suggestions would be amazing, really.
i just need some ideas to get me going.

You can pretty much major in anything and get a job for disney. Disney is so diverse when it comes to employment and they have at least one of everything. Find something that you enjoy and go for it, not just because it will let you have a better chance of working for Disney. If your not sure you can also go in as an undeclaired and then deceide in a semester two once you have a better idea of what the majors are and what exactly is involved in them. I know people who have changed their major three or four times, so dont be too worried about having to choose a major now and having to stick with it for the next four or five years in college.

I agree about waiting until after you freshman year. You'll easily be able to take on a full load by getting most of your basics out of the way, and along the way you might discover what you enjoy studying.

You could check out the Disney web site, enter the "jobs/careers" section and nose around...or try a job placement site like Monster.com...enter DISNEY in the search, see what types of positions pull up and what tyep of education or experience they are looking for. To work in the parks in Orlando, yeah, pretty much open. If you are looking to work in NY, CA for DISNEY then I think it would be more career specific.
