Some days it's important to remember the little things that made you smile in spite of all the "life" that is going on around you.

This morning a young (or uncoordinated) woodpecker was looking for breakfast on the telephone pole in the back yard. I hope he was successful; but, his pecking wasn't the normal rat-a-tat-tat I normally hear. It was more of a peck..... peck, peck.......peck. It made me smile watching and listening to him. :)

what made me smile today was being woken up with an "I Love You" from my 6 yr. old DS :)

My cat "Ojo" was sitting on the top of my truck which was parked on the driveway, next to the side door to the house. Just sitting up there admiring his kingdom.:cat:
Okay, he was waiting for someone to open the door so he could come in and eat.:rolleyes1 Still made me smile. He's such devil.

Maybe he was having a good day, too, and was tapping out the rhythm to a song he had in his head? :goodvibes

Now thats a cutie!

What made me smile last night was, we had Ty and Bailey here for the night. Its usually a nightmare to have them together but since Sissy started Kindergarten shes benn a lot better (and the fact her mother will wail her butt if she doesn't behave). Anyway we watched the ballgame (Phillies of course)and during the national anthem Ty stood up and put his hand over his heart and then Sissy then Kathy and I did. We stood in the family room singing the national anthem with our hands over our hearts then it was "Play Ball!"

What made me smile today?

My DS2 walking up to me as I sat in the floor, folding his laundry, just to kiss me, turn around to walk away and instead come back for 2 more kisses! My sweet boy! :goodvibes
