I know everyone has their favorite loop for different reasons and since I only booked a tent/pop up basic site I probably don't have many options anyway, but hey, it doesn't hurt to ask!
We will be tent camping with two small kids, so getting to the marina to get to the MK will be important. It looks like the tent loops (1500 and 2000?) are located in the middle of the fort, but on opposite sides. So is it better to be in the 1500 loop near the outpost (and the pool, store, etc.)? Or will we get to the marina faster from the 2000 loop?
Do they ever put tents in the 100 or 200 loops? I'm guessing not, but the location is ideal. I'd be tempted to bump up to the preferred level, but we don't need the hook ups and I'd hate to take them away from someone who does, and I know we wouldn't be guaranteed a 100 or 200 spot anyway.
We stayed in the cabins with my parents in 2005 and I just remember it taking a long time to get around on the buses with an impatient toddler. Would like to cut down or eliminate as much of that as possible.
Any wisdom or advice you would be willing to share would be very appreciated.
