What kind of shoe for February?

We're going the first week of February and I'm looking for a recommendation on what kind of shoes to wear for that time of year? I had Teva Dozer's when I went in June but I think I need something different for wintertime. What do the DIS'ers think?

When I went this last Feb (7th-14th) It was in the high 70s or 80s every day. I wore my birkenstock sandles or flip flops and was quite comfortable.

We've always gone in Jan/Feb and each time I wear either my Teva flip flops or tennis shoes, depending on what we're doing/wearing.

Yeah, I would take along tennis shoes for sure.. along with sandles!

Sneakers AND Flip Flops. I went the first week of February this year and they were having record lows (week after was in the 70s ). It was only 33 degrees out when I landed Make sure to pack jeans too. I only brought capris and FROZE the whole time. I had checked the weather online before I left and it was not accurate.

Because the weather is so unpredictable in February I plan to pack for layering. I'm leaving from Portland so I'll be wearing pants on the plane for certain, but I'll also have shorts packed. I'll have plenty of tee-shirts and a sweatshirt. I'll also have a hat and gloves in case it's extra chilly in the evenings. For shoes I'll have both my Keen H2 and sneakers.
Bring it on! I'll be prepared! Layering is key.
