Hmmmm...my kids love Spongebob and so do I so I think I would like to see some kind of ride or attraction of SB. I would imagine riding in a submarine of course submerged in the deep water at the Bikini Bottom and you see some bubbles and you see the characters in the water doing their everyday thing with a story of course. The submarine moves along with the story. And so forth. I would also like to see the Rugrats ride or attraction.

JN and Shrek is a big hit. I am sure if they have SB and the Rugrats, it will also be a big hit especially for the young ones.

What attractions or ride would you like to see at USF/IOA? What would it be like? I'm sure you guys have great ideas!

There's actually a Spongebob 4-D show at the Paramount parks.

I've been to the one at Paramount Canada's Wonderland. It is cute but I'd hesitate to call it 4-D. There are no other effects except for your seats moving now and again.

I am very satisfied with the rides at Universal and how they keep adding and improving.

Wow...Cool!! Canada's Wonderland. I haven't been there in ages!! I have no idea where this is, but I would love to go there again!! Awww...too bad they don't have this at Universal, wonder why?

I think it'd be great for Universal to have a similar ride/show like Disney MGM's American Movie Experience (name? , the one in the Chinese Theatre).
Not an exact copycat, mind you. Just something that chronicles Universal's rich movie history too. (Lest we all start forgetting, as classic rides & shows disappear!)

Make way for the Thrill Ride Fanatics now!!

This may sound very odd coming from a 24 year old rollercoaster freak and thrillseeker....

But, I wish they came up with a nice sit down ride at IOA that doesn't throw you all over the place.

I guess I was at Epcot too many times when I was young, but the classic rides they had there were very interesting without being extreme.

Can it be done? Yes, like something such as E.T. is, but with a different theme.

I'd also love to see what they could do with the Lord of the Rings franchise.

and a JP Jeep ride

Something Simpsons. Who's got the liscence for it?

I wish that the rumors were true and that Universal would add some type of major Lord of the Rings attraction. Harry Potter would be nice too but if HP were there the parks might become too crowded.

I would *love* to see a wooden roller coaster. Don't get me wrong - I love the steel coasters, but would really enjoy a classic wooden coaster.
:)

I would like to see an ICE AGE themed attraction, a pre-historic highly refrigerated attraction. Would be great on those hot summer days.

Also, they need to include Harry Potter! Maybe a Back to the Future type ride, while Harry is in the middle of a Quiddich Match and Prof. Snape or Quiddal are cursing the broom.

Or a Madame Hooch broom lesson!

I rode the SpongeBob ride at PKD this year. It's ok, but started to make me sick like other simulators. You sit in a reclined seat. You put a seat belt on and the show starts. The seats jostle back and forth to the movie, like the old style simulators. There we're no effects from the ceiling (light, water) and it wasn't in 3d. As usual, they over do it with the shaking effects.

The only simulator that didn't make me sick and made me feel like I was in a movie, was Corkscrew Hill at BGW. Why? Because it adds to the viewing experience, and doesn't try to overpower the show.

My vote for a new ride is of coarse, the B&M flyer at IOA, or a 4d machine like X if B&M has started to design one.

If they were to add that, they'd have to stuff it behind MIB. There's no room anywhere else for a coaster *that* big!

LOL...I agree! A nice sit down ride is always nice. Instead by the time the ride is over, you get this big headache and you feel you just got whipflashed (sp?).

Great ideas guys! I wish someone from Universal would read this board and read this thread! That would be nice if we can implement these in their mind and maybe they will consider them!

I would not be at all surprised if they did. I am sure Disney has someone doing it as well.

YES! I've thought this for ages and it's nice to see someone else thinks this too! Especially Lord of the Rings because that's more of the target group at Universal, but Harry Potter is OK too! And I was JUST going to post this but saw you already did! :p

I also have to agree about some sit-down easy ride at Islands of Adventure. Something for those who don't care for the thrill rides and coasters. There isn't much for my mom to do there and so my parents end up waiting on me as I go on Dr. Doom's or the Hulk.

Also I'd like to see more "making of movies" type of rides or shows. Since I'm interested in film VERY much and would like to learn how some of my favorite movies are made, this could be cool. Not a lot of these things but a couple perhaps.

Maybe have a rollercoaster at Universal Studios (for those who can't go to both parks) maybe. Nothing big but something more intense than it's current rides. Maybe something likeDisney's Space Mountain but have a different theme.
