What kind of printer to print transfer designs?

I looked through the FAQ and didn't see this so forgive me if it is a duplicate question. If I have a design I want to print on transfer paper, what is the best type of printer to use? I have a nice laser at home but it is only black and white. I also have a deskjet in color but the quality doesn't look nearly as crisp as what I am seeing on your designs.

What kind of printers do you all use? Are they home printers, or are you taking your designs somewhere else to print? Like kinkos or something? THanks! Julie

I use my home printer which is an HP all in one. I will change the properties in the print dialog box to other specialty paper and the best print quality. If you use a laser printer you will need to make sure that you have laser transfer paper. I will be ordering some for the first time as DH has a color laser at work that we can use. HTH!

I also have an HP all-in-one (hp psc 750) ink jet printer. It's an older one, but it still does a good job. Putting it in best mode is important. Also, the transfers are a bit brighter once they are ironed on.

Hmm, I have a HP color deskjet 3650 so maybe it will work. I'll have to check and see how the resolution is. THanks! JJ

I have an older HP (we hadn't used it in several years, because we have a laser at home). It worked well.
