What is your WDW area of expertise?

Expertise - well I don't claim to be an expert on anything but I do love to plan. So I'm a great resource for planning a WDW or DCL vacation. I love to do web searches and love reading travel books. That's one of the reasons I love the DIS. A great place to exchange information.

Absolutely there was the swan boat ride. If you stand at the edge of tomorrowland and look toward the castle, look down toward the water and you'll see what was the original ride attraction loading dock. It's now just a place to sit and rest.

I don't know if you still can, but years ago, if the water was clear, you could stand at the dock and still see the underwater tracks for the swan boats.

Now for more recent history, who remembers the original boat ride at AK? It didn't last long, I think less than a year. And now the loading docks are simply character greeting areas. It took you around the island, past sprouting geysers, and under the pedestrian bridges.

How sad!!! I want to ride the swan ride!!!

Like WDWLVR, I am the "go-to" person for anyone who knows me for planning/arranging a trip to WDW. Other than golf and spa treatments/places, I have a reputation as the "expert" on WDW. Which pretty much means they all think I'm nuts. :teeth: But when they want to go to Disney, all of a sudden I'm their best friend! A walking "Unofficial Guide", that's me....

As my username suggests, I'm also very talented at sitting in the Terror Chair on the Tower of Terror. I can usually get that seat and ride it...properly...about 3 in 5 rides.
