How do you do it? For a weekend trip we try new places and for a longer trip we do some favs and some new ones

We have done short trips and long trips...We always try to go some where new at least once if not more...And we have about five favs we try to hit every visit or two.

I have a very picky husband. ;) Therefore, we pretty much eat at the same TS's every time - LTT, CP, Le Cellier, Rose and Crown, etc. But we do always try some place new each trip- sometimes its a TS, but more often a CS.

We have three must do's every trip: LeCellier, Plaza Restaurant and Crystal Palace. We alternate with Rose and Crown, Biergarten, Cape May Cafe (for dinner) and Fulton's (because it is not on the dining plan). This year we are trying several new places: Yak & Yeti, Whispering Canyon, Boma and Cape May Cafe for breakast. We are also going back to Fulton's for our special 25th anniversary dinner and cannot wait.

I really love to try new places, but there are some favs like Le Cellier that I have to return to on my next trip. I've been to Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's several times and wouldn't be going again on this next trip if we didn't have a bunch of Disney virgins going with us including 6 young kids. The only new restaurant we are trying for the first time with our group is Tutto Italia and O'hana (dinner). I have been to all of the others before.

With that in mind, we will return to WDW after leaving for 5 days going to southern Florida. We will return with out the relatives and will be trying all new restaurants including Raglin Road, Boma (breakfast), Narcoosee's, San Angel, and Yachtman's Steakhouse.

By the way, we will also be trying a different resort, Coronado Springs. I really like trying different resorts.

We have our favs for sure, but with so many places to try, we usually branch out and try one or two new places, especially on longer trips.

We're lucky that we only ever do 2 or 3 week trips, so we can fit plenty of TS restaurants in. We always book our faves then add a few new ones we haven't tried yet.

I'm boring, go to the same places an d usually get the same think.....I think its time to branch out. I am trying Artist point for the first time this year:cool1:

On this next trip we are doing all new and one favorite (yet to be determined, but either Rose and Crown or Ohana's, most likely).

We definetly do some of both, old and new.

This is our upcoming trip:

Repeats:
Kona Cafe
Liberty Tree Tavern
1900 Park Fair
Marrakesh
Chef Mickey (3rd time here)

and NEW:
Afternoon Tea
Whispering Canyon
Teppan Edo
Cinderalla's Breakfast
Narcoossee's
Rainforest Cafe (maybe?!?)

And on a future, as yet unplanned, trip we will repeat at Sci Fi because the kids loved it last time and we will try the TS in Mexico because we just couldn't fit these into this trip.

This year we only have one repeat - Kona for breakfast. I talked my husband into trying a few new places. We're trying 50's Prime Time(D), Boma(B), Biergarten(D), and the Grand Floridian Cafe(D). Hopefully he'll enjoy them all.

some old and some new. I have my favs that we try to hit every time we go, but I like to include one or two new ones (or ones that I haven't gone to in awhile) each trip just to keep it interesting!!

This next trip is our "all new" trip, new resort and all new TS:

Narcoossee's
Raglan Road
Yachtsman
Bistro de Paris
BOMA
Boatwrights
Yak & Yeti
The Plaza
Sci-Fi

We rarely return to the same spot. Exception was last year when I took my ILs for their first visit and I really wanted them to exp some great ones we'd already been to.

And Raglan Road, which DH has to visit each trip now =)

Other than that, it's almost all new.

We go to a mix of tried and true favorites as well as a few new places each trip. We are very excited to try The Wave this summer.
