What is your not so normal item to pack, which is helpful while at WDW ?

Haven't read the entire thread, but here is my list of items:
1) garbage bags- for keeping room clean and for dirty clothes
2) large ziplock bags- for packing opened toiletries so they don't accidentally spill
3) a large empty tote bag- for everything we accumulate on our trip, now we can get them home
4) envelopes- for tipping housekeeping

Trial size can of Lysol! After DD came down with a stomach bug during our trip last August, I was shocked that none of the gift shops on Disney property carry this. We even tried calling mousekeeping to see if they could bring us a can to use that week and they didn't have any. I felt so bad each time we had to call them to come disinfect the bathroom...she was so sick and I was trying everything to keep the rest of us from getting it. I will never travel anywhere without a can or two, that's for sure!!

We're taking a tube of glowsticks to use in the parks at night and to place in the bathroom area so we can find our way there in a pitch black hotel room. Also the standard ziploc type bags for putting snacks etc in. Also the little eyemasks you get on the plane sometimes and earplugs to help me sleep.

FYI, for those who bring their own hangers, you can call Mousekeeping any time and ask them to bring you extra hangers for your room. They'll bring as many as you want, and can bring both regular hangers and the ones with pant/skirt clips. No need to bring your own!

True, but the hangers mousekeeping brings have small hooks and will not fit over the shower rod. I like something I can hang over the curtain rod to dry clothes or steam the wrinkles out.

A Master Lock is one of those locks you can buy that uses either a code or a key to lock things up. I'm not sure what it would be used on in this case, maybe a suitcase?

With the MB you no longer need the id holder with retractable clip for your room key!

Collapsible cups. (Smaller than a collapsible water bottle and will fit in a cargo pants pocket - and easier to fill at a water fountain)

Body Glide is expensive and big. Johnson and Johnson make something called "Friction block" which does the same thing and can fit in a pocket if you want to carry it with you.

Double layer socks work very well for blister prevention... available where products for runners are sold. They're thinner than regular socks and comfortable.

I also pack a "power squid".. it's an extension cord that has multiple plugs (the link is only one brand.. I have a less bulky one, but couldn't find a picture.)

If you have an iPhone, invest in a Mophie. it's an extra battery/cover for your phone. It holds a full charge and is a lifesaver when you're in a park for a whole day. Especially, now that MDE is an app on the phone. One tip for using a Mophie or any extra battery, don't leave it on trickle (meaning it is always recharging your phone). Turn the extra battery on only when your phone battery is almost dead. You'll actually get more life out of the re-charge.

Not entirely true. The birds wouldn't take them until we cut them up. Flame Tree is the best place for bird feeding.

There is also signs at Flame Tree that says not to feed the birds!

The last time I checked, Disney required guest to wear clothes. But on the other hand it would make going through security a breeze or breezy.
